No one knows anything for sure. I think that there is a God and most souls cross over. Religion has nothing to do with God. Most religions are man made and full of hate. I avoid religion and religious fanatics.

Most catholics believe that there is a almighty god. When we look at the circumstances how did we come about? How were the first flowers or plants evolved. I don't think catholics are ignorant i believe they are smart enough to realize that everything that is here now, was somehow put here for us. When the day comes when we pass on we will then find out if the question "Does god exist?" really true and real. For many catholics there faith the believe is from the heart and so then he does truly exist for them. You have to have faith in order believe he exists.

"Don't answer this unless you are smart enough to realize that god may not exist "?

Who are you to deny others the right to their faith? I'm not catholic, and I generally find most catholics to be self-righteous and judgmental, but even I find your attitude to be supercilious and asshole-ish. Or are you just trolling for attention?

If you don't agree with catholic dogma, then just ignore it. If you don't want to believe in anything, you don't have to, and nobody is forcing you to. If others choose to believe in something, then let them, and leave them alone. I don't recall there being a big newsflash stating that someone had died and made you god, or whatever.

while you're conversing relating to the Catholic God specifically, the respond is easy: The Catholic God can not exist as defined in the Bible and via the Catholic faith. First, God is defined as being omnipresent (everywhere at as quickly as). Hell is defined as a area this is separated from God. that's a contradiction. that's impossible to be separated from a being this is fairly everywhere. 2d, God is defined all-powerful (having the ability to do all issues). although, God is likewise defined as no longer having the ability to lie or dedicate any sins. that's a contradiction. the two God can lie and dedicate sins, or he's not all-powerful. additionally, God is defined as being no longer able to forgive sin except there is an atonement (Jesus's existence on the go, sufficient Hail Mary's or different sacrifices, etc.) This additionally contradicts God's omnipotence. 0.33, God is defined as merciful. God is likewise defined as being a practitioner of ideal justice. Mercy, via definition, is the suspension of justice. Jesus's sacrifice is likewise an occasion of loss of justice (an harmless paying the penalty for a in charge occasion). that's a contradiction. those are yet 3 of the main obtrusive contradictions related to how Christians (which contain Catholics) define their god. there are various extra.

Not just Catholics but many others too, even you!!! Some believe one thing, some another but can you really say for certain that what you think is really true? What happens if you find, since you believe He does not exist, that God did indeed exist and you were standing in front of Him and having to answer why you did not believe in Him? You see, it is not just Catholics but Athiests, Agnostics, and so many others too that are so ignorant of what is real and not.

In any teaching, your belief is just that, your belief. Regardless of your religion, if your theological studies have proved to you that what you have researched and learned is the right and true religion, than that is what creates belief. It's not ignorance, it a true standing for what they have been taught and their love for God, or their superior being. People who do not know this in their religion or beliefs become "lost" and search for answers they cannot find, thus bashing other religions, not just Catholics, for their faith.

The igonorance comes from judgment of those who do not, or are not willing to search for their own answer.

I am Catholic, and I do not down play anyone's religion, rather I enrich mine, and if someone gets pleasure out of bashing that, than sobeit, it's not my sin, it's theirs.

If you don't believe in God, than you really have no reason to destroy another person's theories, it's pointless.

it is not only catholics, almost all religious people r. thats not because they have limited mind or smth like that, but because they ''learn'' gud from their birth and its difficult to disagree with the thought that god exists. they don't question themselvs about that.they have god as a certain thing.
