I would really like to attend the university, but i am not catholic. Also, i wouldn't be attending just to play a sport there, I just think it is a really nice place with good morals and stuff. I'm not really a religious person, but i think that mayber submerging myself in a strong religious school would help me in life. If i do need to convert, could i do it an the university? Thanks for the help!

Jehovah God "supposedly" has given us free will. Why then does he command we love him? How can you command someone to love you? Isn't that like forcing them to love you?

All these things Jehovah God/Jesus Christ commands of us. If it is truly, "...for freedom that Christ has set us free...," then why all the commandments? Why are they simply not "suggestions" if Jehovah God truly wants us to have free will?

If a big fat girl says she doesn't date because of her religion, wouldn't most people know she just can't get a date?

Jesus (pbuh) never preached trinity or redemption or worship of the holy ghost or worship of himself.

Jesus (pbuh) is mentioned in the bible as the son of MAN 87 times and as the 'son of god' at least13 times. that's almost 8 more times!

The son of man was also a figurative speech meaning the noble servents of God.

Matt 5:9
"blessed are the peacemakers for they shal be called the sons of God"

your opinions?

We all belive in the same god.
Were all people.
We all have arms, legs, feet, and a head.
All churches say prayers.
All churches do baptizim.
All churches have some kind of sin forgiving worship.

or did you have to work at it? The sky, the earth, the trees...you must have worked real hard, until your beard turned white, to believe that there no God. I guess no one made your watch, too!

In Zen Buddhism, there is a term (Mu), if I remember correctly, which means " I unask your question", or "I deny your right to expect an answer". It's a bit of a mindleap for a British person, but it would apply to this site pretty well, as I wish that most of the questions posted here had never been asked.

Blaise Pascal (1623-62), a French mathematician and physicist said, "If there is a God and I BELIEVE in Him I have gained everything. If there is a God and I DO NOT BELIEVE in Him I have lost everything. If there is not a God and I BELIEVE in Him I have lost nothing."

Although false Christianity often has interpreted God's laws in a way that often harms man, I believe they really are intended to protect and bless man, and will do so if applied rightly.

(John 10:10) "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."

(1 Tim 4:8) "For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come."

I used to be Catholic, but I am not right now. I want to return to the Church. My problem is that when I entered the Confirmation process I had a strong, albeit uneducated faith, but during the process I lost faith and was too scared to duck out. So I got confirmed even though I thought God and the Church and all the rest was bunk. I was an atheist at the time. Now I believe in God very strongly but I know that I cannot be re-Confirmed. I profaned the Sacrament... what should I do?
