Think about it, a God being squeezed out of a womb of a woman and entering the world to save lives of humans under a premeditated suicide at the hands of Romans.

Considering that we drink wine as a connotation to Jesus’s death, can we equally drink wine as a symbol to the suffering of Mary giving birth to Jesus? After all, she is the Mother of God and bled in giving birth.

It has made many people upset that folks are taking Jesus' name out of the season. We must remember that He wasn't actually born during this time of the year and that it was some of our predecessors who decided to celebrate Christ's birthday on what was actually a time of pagan festival.
I don't believe that what we call the day is the issue to address. If we want to celebrate the day properly we should, GET ALONG AND LOVE ONE ANOTHER. Now, having said that let us address another relevant part of this discussion.
If it bothers you that the town in which you live doesn't allow a scene depicting Christ's birth, then just get rid of a couple of Santa's and snowmen and put in a small Nativity scene on your own front lawn. If all believers did that there wouldn't be any need for such a scene on the town square because there would be many of them all around town.

i went to a lutheren church yesterday and had trouble understanding the practice of the advent. i was raised baptist but do not adhere to any denominational loyalty. the advent to me does not make sense. it sounded to me like this is the practice of not celebrating the birth of christ four sundays prior to christmas. how is this not in contradiction? aren't our living testaments as christians a celebration of jesus's birth, life, death, and resurection? please inform me.

Proclaim!
In the name of thy Lord and Cherisher, who created -
created man, out of a mere clot of congealed blood.
-- Sura 96:1-2
It is he who has created man from water
-- Sura 25:54
And God has created every living creature from water.
-- Sura 24:45

We created man from sounding clay,
from mud moulded into shape.
-- Sura 15:26

Amongst his signs is this,
that he created you from dust.
-- Sura 30:20
God createth what He willeth:
When he hath decreed a plan,
He but saith to it, "Be," and it is!
-- Sura 3:47
Blood clot? water? clay? dust? or he just said be and we all became. which is which?

The priest is ecstatic as the more sinners there are the better for the clergy because then they can make you feel guilty as hell and the more guilty you feel the more they can make you do what they want you to do.
Is this true?
