A spiritual person is one who has faith in a belief and a superstitious person is one who believes in things that are generally accepted as unfounded. It is just a thought but it could happen that one day belief in the supernatural could become generally discredited and then it too would be superstition.

Without consulting a dictionary:

Superstitious person has all these little beliefs and rituals they feel compelled to perform in order to ease themselves about the strange beliefs and guilt, hard feelings, etc. that comes when something makes no sense to them. For example, he could decide a number has meaning, and one day take a drive and see that number on a sign on the road, and ignore it (to his thinking, it would feel like that) and then something bad happens, and he thinks it's coz he ignored the "sign." So then he feels compelled to never ignore numbers again. They have a hard time growing coz they see something in everything and it's usually not a good something, but a bad one that makes them feel doomed.

Superstitions are WEIRD.

Spiritual people do not have these superstitions. They are more at ease or capable of putting themselves at ease simply by meditating and balancing/harmonizing their surroundings and lives. They can increase changes in their lives as they become more spiritual. They do not see "signs" and try to recognize their worries when trying new things are just that, natural worries, and that the only thing that can lessen their "luck" (borrowing a phrase from the superstitious ones) is the random, uncontrollable event or their own actions. Even then, they know they can put themselves back together without resorting to strange ideologies that limit their chances to grow.

A spiritual person ensures that what is known as the trinity of the Father, Son & Spirit (that is God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit whom Jesus gave to all believers when he ascended back to Heaven) as the focus of their life.
A superstitious person tends to have an above average awareness and obedience to darker, evil spirits, and so lives their life trying not to offend those spirits and bring bad or evil luck upon themselves.
A spiritual person has no use for luck - they know God will abundantly provide them with all they need in life - if they believe in Jesus' supreme sacrifice by giving His life for us on the cross; are obedient to His word (the Bible) and live our lives as disciples of His word.
That's about as short and simple as I can make it...but there are many more differences...
God Bless!

A religious person usually has a bunch of other people who believe the same thing that they do. There's also usually a lot of dogma and a big institution and authority figures (preachers, shaiks, rabbis) Superstitions are more personal such as wearing lucky underwear. Both are equally false and make humans look stupid. It's funny that religious people will give a totally different answer than me.

Nothing really. Superstitions are beliefs from a long time ago. Touching wood was done to avert evil. That's where we get knock on wood. Most superstitions can be traced back thousands of years. People of that era were very spiritual people. They may not have been Christians, but they were spiritual nonetheless.

Well I am spiritual in a purely naturalistic way..in that I am in deep awe of the vast universe. I think there needs to be a new word coined to describe this naturalistic "spirituality" people have...but in the context of supernatural belief..there is no meaningful difference between spirituality and superstition.

a superstitious person believes that certain methodical acts and practices will affect daily living (has nothing to do with witchcraft....use your head). a spiritual person understands or maybe just believes that there is something deeper to life than this and attempts to understand and connect with it.
