Sura 19:67 says
But does not man call to mind that We created him before out of nothing?
or was he created out of nothing?

Clay = Dust + Water
Blood clot = Embryo (beginning phases)

edit: Everything was created out of nothing in the beginning. The dust and the water was also created from nothing.

Nothing-->Dust + Water-->Clay-->Man

Never Question God's Wisdom
[21:23] He is never to be asked about anything He does, while all others are questioned.

[21:24] Have they found other gods beside Him? Say, "Show me your proof. This is the message to my generation, consummating all previous messages." Indeed, most of them do not recognize the truth; this is why they are so hostile.

Here GOD is talking about the creation of FIRST MAN (ADAM) with clay or dust from earth without soul. When ALLAH has given him soul he started to move/alive and then all the children of Adam were created from embryo that got its stages describe in Quran with blood clot etc and also without fluids/water, life is impossible.
And other creatures GOD created by HIS COMMAND Be," and it is

96:1] Read, in the name of your Lord, who created.*

[96:2] He created man from an embryo.

[25:54] He is the One who created from water a human being, then made him reproduce through marriage and mating. Your Lord is Omnipotent.

24:45] And GOD created every living creature from water. Some of them walk on their bellies, some walk on two legs, and some walk on four. GOD creates whatever He wills. GOD is Omnipotent.

[15:26] We created the human being from aged mud, like the potter's clay.

[30:20] Among His proofs is that He created you from dust, then you became reproducing humans.

[3:47] She said, "My Lord, how can I have a son, when no man has touched me?" He said, "GOD thus creates whatever He wills. To have anything done, He simply says to it, `Be,' and it is.

Adam (ASW) was created from a hadnful of dirt picked from all of earth. The Qu'ran mentions many different names for what man was created from. This is because there was a process.
1. Turab: this is plain dirt.
2. Ti'in (clay): at this point the dirt was mixed with the essence of every living thing-water and it became clay.
3. Ti'in al lazib (sticky clay): the abpve mixture was left to dry and hence the water evaporates.
4. hama e masnoon (black smooth mud)
5. sal sal (sounding clay): from the above mixture God moulded Adam . He was left to dry and the clay hardened to like that of pottery. This was the empty shell of Adam without his soul.

This is the process thru which Adam was created. We were all created from clay, dust, blood, water, etc. And yes, God only has to say be! and it is.
Why should we choose only one way? It is we who are limited because we think in singular ways. We impose our physical laws and flawed thinking and limited knowledge on God.
He does not live by them.

Dust and water make mud you know? He created Adam from it. The rest my dear (the blood clot), and I wish you have written the whole thing, speaks of the baby development in his mother's womb, step by step. Every living creature cannot live without water, and this is how all lives are based on water.

Gee this could be a tuffy, kinda like which got here first the hen or the egg factor? Ever for the reason that human beings roamed the Earth they continually appeared to have self belief in a stronger capacity of a few form? maximum have self belief it grew to become into so as that they could blame something else whilst issues weren't going so nicely, like vegetation failing, somebody dying, mate not with the flexibility to have infants or despite the issue could be? First they got here up with idols "not American Idols" LOL those idols have been seen Gods and Goddess some have been for fertility, some have been Gods of the sunlight that have been in charge for vegetation growing to be and different Gods for different issues. a number of those Gods have been worshiped via sacrifices animal, human, or portion of the vegetation that have been grown that 12 months. Then Jesus comes into the image claiming there grew to become into in basic terms one God and a great variety of believed what he pronounced. mutually as there have been many people who have shown Jesus grew to become into right here no person can say they seen the face of God and proved she or he's actual? So no person can extremely say who created who now can they? yet i'm leaning extra in the direction of guy growing to be God! Gee that's Sunday I extra useful watch what I say huh? ~~~~~~~~zap~~~~~~~ Yikes!!!! Ahhhhhhhh!

All of the above. Thank Allah(SWT)(God) there are no contradiction in the Holy Quran. Sometime we may not understand the meaning of it but its Allah(swt) way for us to think out of the box.

desert religions seem to think of everything as made out of dust and water. I think the blood clot thing is a reference to menses.
