I wash them by hand.
However, the boyfriend is starting to get a bit jealous of my closeness with the toaster.

I have a personal relationship with my maid, who does the dishes by hand. And then after the dishes she does me by hand.

I personally think that doing things by your own is always better than to cry when any of the appliance conks off.
