We do not all believe in the same God and that is a drawback for the baptism part because what God are they baptized into? The mechanism for sin forgiveness is questionable too. There are certain guidelines laid down and they are not followed in some religions. The New Age would love to have just this one big happy religion but watch out, it doesn't work that way. They want to throw the baby out with the bathwater. We should never compromise the Truth.

Yes I believe that its all the same God, and shouldn't we have a hand in religious tolerance anyways.
You have to remember that even Moses was well versed in the ancient Egyptian Mysteries and was next in line to be Pharaoh he used to practice a different religion. Jesus was a practicing Jew and I can go on and on but this is what I am trying to get at......
I think religion changes with the times and God is behind it every time.
Because God used to be an angry and a vengeful God and still can be, but things changed and he also wanted us to know that he is also a God of Love and Peace.

Religion follows after tradations anything but God, thier after god.
Bible Believer follows God, Jesus (His Son, who is God) and the Holy Spirit.
Religion is an "IT"
Bible Believer, someone
Hosea 8:6 For from Israel was it also: the workman made it; therefore it is not God:
GOD IS NOWHERE
to man - no where
to believer now here

Right, now take it to the next level. All religions/Gods/dogma are the inventions of man. Religion is just a way to make death less final.

Nice try at bringing peace to this chat group.
However, you question reveals that its answer reminds us of How disharmonious are the leaders of religious empires. Each gains, or maintains membership, by critcizing the other denominations.

Different stories. As a friend of mine says, the same, only different. There's a guy on the radio here who has a song called, "My God is better than your God......"
