All Christians should believe the bible. If they don't, there is something seriously wrong.
P.S. Mormons are not Christian, they are Mormon. They "interpret" the bible based on a false gospel written by a false prophet. Excuse my blunt speaking, but this is important to know.

First one of my main rules about religion is anyone who says I need the Bible and another book to be saved is not a Christian religion. Other books can be nice but no other book is essential. The Mormon faith has two other books that they must follow.
And have allot of other issues as well. I would scratch them off the list.
I first became a Christian after a close call with a cult. Because I came so close to being mislead by a false teacher I refused to start going to Church right away. Instead of Church I spent that that time studying the Bible. I read the Bible from cover to cover.
You see there is no better way to spot a phony then to be really familiar with the real McCoy.
The reason why I say this is because their is no perfect earthly church. And many churches don't even follow what the main denomination believes.
If you haven't yet read the Bible from cover to cover or at least the entire New Testament you need to because what God says is more important than what any preacher might say.
Once you have make a list of essentials that any church you go to must have and start making appointments to talk to the preachers in your town to see what that particular preacher believes. Ask the preacher about everything on the list,, but don't use words like trinity, define the terms instead because allot of people change definitions of words to make them mean what they want them to mean. If you do run into a problem ask the preacher if they have a booklet that explains that idea more fully, to look at in your leisure.
But again do this only after you have read the entire New Testament from cover to cover.
I hope this helps.

Any name will do, but they must believe the Bible is The Word. If you are looking for a church, I suggest you make the decision for your self. Go to all the churches and keep your eyes and ears open to anything that causes you to believe they are or are not for real.
If no one has a bible, leave.
There are so many branches of the Baptist churches one could not say Baptist because they are so different and they do not recognize one another as part of the association. They are not bad, just some are more my style of worship than the other.
I chose a non-denominational church.

It's not actually as black and white as that. Christians beleive everything in the bible and some teach it is literal and some teach it is symbolic. Depends on the preacher and even then you are allowed to decide for yourself. Mormons read the bible but also have additional books that are thought to be the word of God as well. The more important question is do you beleive everything out of the bible?

Basically the Evangelical Christian denominations. (also members of other denominations). Baptists, Brethren, Pentecostal, Christian Misisonary Alliance, Associated Gospel Churches, Mennonite Brethren --- others too, would be among these Evangelical Christian denomincaitons.

Something I believe about the bible is not necessarily everything should be taken literally, there is a lot of symbolism and parables.
I am LDS and we believe the bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly.

They all say they do!!!! That is why we have all the denominations! You just need to read The Bible and pray about it and then go to the church that fits your believes and the one you think God would like you to go to. :-)

No. They all pick certain scriptures to talk about. I studied with a lot of them & they tell you to read a certain passage, but if you read on, you can find a whole different slant on the words. I've read the whole thing.

Thessalonians I 2:13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.
Timothy II 2:15 Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Job 23:12 Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.

Luke 4:4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
