I ask this same question once in a meditation. The answer came clear as a bell.

It said I have placed you here to learn the true meaning of Love. What ever it was that was answering then told me something that really set me back. It said that I felt the way I did about certain people because I did not understand the true meaning of love. I protested and said that I did my best to love all of
the people who were deserving of love.

It replied "yes that is, you’re misunderstanding. You see love as something
that you dole out in tiny little portions here and there to people who you
have judged to be worthy of it. This is not love at all, it is only
judgment". This stopped me dead in my tracks. I suddenly realized that what
it was saying to me was true. This realization brought me to tears. It went
on and told me, "You treat love as though there is some shortage of it. It
is not something that you can run out of. The more love that you give, the
more love that there is in the world. Its that simple. The only way that
there can be a shortage of it is if you hoard it and keep it to yourself."

It went on to explain, that "this is what Jesus was trying to tell you when
he asked you to turn the other cheek, to judge not and to love your
neighbor. He made no exceptions in these things that he requested of you.
Why are you making exceptions, and judging some as worthy of love and others
as not? Jesus fully intended for you to apply this love that you are to all,
in a universal manner without any judgment of any sort". By this time the tears
Were flowing so freely. I was crying because for the first time in my life I
Understood what the message Jesus left for us in the bible actually meant.

This has become my truth. I can't say what yours is for sure, but I have a feeling that it is probably similar.

Love and blessings

Your question is a great mystery. No one truly knows or has absolute proof of what our purpose for living is. There are only theories. Try these:

Evolution: We evolved from an accident of chemicals that
became alive, multiplied, and mutated. We then
die and are nothing again. Comforting, no?

Biblically: We are descended from Adam and Eve, who
were created by God Jehovah, or Yahweh.
Some interpretations think we'll die and go to
heaven, some think we'll die and become non-
existent, until the great resurrection, were we'll
have a second chance to prove ourselves to
God.

Reincarnation: We come to Earth many times for many
lives to live different experiences.
Eventually, we become truly supreme
spirits after experiencing all types of lives.

There are more possibilities, but these are the current beliefs for now. Who's correct, no one knows.

The sole purpose of living is to submit oneself to God and by following his commandments for ultimate salvation and to enter Paradise. This involves worshipping God and not the creation and obey his commandments and staying away from what has been prohibited.

People have been asking this question for centuries and you're hoping to find an answer on here?????????????

Personally though, its to help others and to care and nurture the planet on which we live to make it a better place to live.

We're really screwing up on that aren't we?

To teach my children as much as I can about God and his truth. I know this because I am still here years after I should have died and probably did in reality. Therefore he obviously wanted me to better for my children than was done for me and to give them the chance to know him and raise them to be the best people they can be. Tolerant of others, but able to stand firm in their own beliefs. Understanding of things and the ability to change what they can and to accept that which they cannot change. To never compromise themselves to fit into a society that neither cares about them nor about itself. To understand that no one wants to hear about your problems as they all have their own and that no one will care what happened to you in your past...you are still expected to know how to conduct yourself around others, and if you cannot be expected to do that then you should not be allowed to be around the masses.

Nothing Spectacular... We all have to die... Seems to be, Our life here is but a fleeting glance at what we did right or wrong while here... We punish ourselves and we praise ourselves. Then comes balance, you are at peace with your life...

Worshiping One God, not three, not humans, not animals, but GOD.

you can do whatever you want in this life, but you know it is short and temporary, hence you should prepare for the unseen as all have been warned of what is to come.

To discover your own divinity ... the true self. Only then will you want to leave the physical plane behind and return home to God ... from whence you came.

Right now?--To listen to God and to gain eternal life.
Then, in the new, cleansed system, there will be life in abundance, only thing is -no more death and only peace, love and harmony-I kid you not.
