Ok, your Bible has teachings such as:
"Love thy neighbor as thyself"
"Judge not lest ye be judged"
And so forth, yeah I could continue with those, but I'd rather just get to the question.

Ok, if those are what your religion teaches. Then why when someone who is a Muslim, or a Pagan, posts something on Y! Answers, why do some of these people that call themselves Christians reply with hate and remarks like:
"Burn in hell"
"Burn the witch"
"Your faith is wrong"
"Your religion is evil"
"You just don't know what love is"
"It's all about Jesus, and you're all slipping into anti-christianity!"

So for a group who is taught all about loving their fellow humans, they do spread a lot of hate. So whats with it? Does one of the scriptures in the Bible say its ok to be so hipocritical?

While I was studying with the witness' an elder found out I was dating a gentleman who attended another congregation. What the elder did was go and report him to the elders at his congregation. I didn't want to get my friend in trouble so I didn't say anything else to them about my personal life. Well anyway, me and that gentleman got married because we love each other and we want to do what's right with Jehovah (God). For some reason I felt like a child being scolded when I announced my marriage. The elder toId me that I was a grown woman and able to make my own decisions, and he didn't understand why I hadn't said anything to him about still seeing this gentleman; he went to my husband's elders, that's why I kept my business to myself. Why do I feel like I just did something so terrible? I am not a baptized witness yet.

I am Cherokee and I embrace my Cherokee culture, my boyfriend is a christian born and raised. We are both understanding yet stubborn about our ways. His religion claims he must change my religion in order for him to be doing 'gods' work. And, I think it is cruel to judge who is right or wrong!

yes, everyone can conjure up their own idea, religion, whatever suits their fancy as an answer, but the deep truth is that we don't know for certain, and yes, it frustrates me to no end, almost to the point where I get no sleep and can't associate with other people.

Anyone have any advice?

I've tried, but I just don't 'feel' it. It returns blankly and in silence when I strive to believe in signs or evidence. I just feel I am alone on this rock surrounded by people who are results of a complicated accident, triggered by organs and brain-power to function through everyday actions, it doesn't feel 'real' or 'spiritual'

I mean, more than anything, what makes you believe that your God is real?

how can we objectively prove that there is life after death, so that we will do good here in earth, so that we can go to heaven as they say?

The Bible tells us not to be yoked with unbelievers . I am into an arranged marriage according to our culture so I did'nt have a chance to know my spouse before marriage but he too is of the same religion(christianity) . He does'nt know The Lord personally but he is strong in the religion like following the traditions but not actually living for HIM based on HIS Word . And these traditions are taking away lot of my time , energy and most importantly my relationship with God . What would you suggest .

Please, good answers only, if you try to advertise any major religious God for some self-interested agenda instead of answering from your heart, I will report you.

Okay I know that I'm not suppose to break any of the commandments but I have a question? Do you think breaking one commandment is worst than another one. For example... Is murder worst than commiting adultery? Just wondering?
