But Bible says, "For we write nothing to you that you do not read and understand." 2 Cor. 1:13

No mention of Pope and his goons.

Jesus says that His sheep will follow Him, will follow the truth John 14:6, and they will not follow a stranger.

This is just something I have been thinking about. To start off, I am a Christian. Though, I am confused and unsure on some things. One thing though that I have thought a lot about is this. Do you think that religions that teach the same basics have one in the same God? I don't know if I worded that exactly right. I'll try to explain more....

Christianity formed thousands of years ago in Europe. Now, the Bible says the only way to Heaven is through Christ..and I agree. But what about those people who have never even heard the name of the Christian God? What happens to them? I do not think God would just let them go to hell. The Native Americans are a good example. Their beliefs are very similar to ours......do you think that it the same God, just going by a different name so every one will have the opportunity to know him?

What are your opinions? Sorry if it didn't make much sense, I tried to explain what I'm thinking but I'm not even sure myself of what I'm thinking......

For example: If you had brought food and drinks to homeless or poor people ( In other words it is The Coporal Works of Mercy of: Feed the Hungry, Give drink to the thirsty)

How would such action express a respect to the:

1. Human Dignity
2. The preferential option for the poor or justice

Thanks and Please provide me your guidance.

The most we ever give as punishment is life imprisonment (UK) or death penalty (America.) We want criminals to suffer and regret, especially for big crimes such as murder - but does anyone truly, really, deserve an ETERNITY of the worst kind of pain imaginable? Especially once they've seen God?

I'd think once you have known God, you'd repent and realise the morals of the Bible are correct, etc. How can anyone, even the worst of serial killers, deserve an eternity of hell? Or is this not AS bad as all that? Is it a hell of your own making, far from God? Or simply non-existence?

I don't think anyone deserves hell. But then, I am an atheist.

I've asked several of my friends are you Catholic or Christian, they will either say "we are Christian" or "we are Catholic". When I ask them what is the difference, they said " Catholic believes in Virgin Mary and Christian does not". Can you list out what's the difference and who they worship? I checked online and didn't give me such
explanation. Thank you very much.

How can you really believe that someone that has dedicated his life helping others however does not belong to your religion, hence, does not BELIEVE IN YOUR DOCTRINES,(YOU CANNOT FORCE A BELIEF in your head in case you were unaware of that), behaves like a loving ,caring human being , will be punished and judged by God AND SENT TO HELL just because he did not believe in Christianity? HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR YOU TO REALIZE THAT YOU ARE MAKING A MOCKERY OUT OF GOD?

With no bad things, surely it would become neutral? Or can God do the logically impossible (Descartes)?

Also, do you believe that anyone deserves hell? I don't.

This happened on the anniversary date of our mothers death. He does not remember the accident. All he remembers is a hand coming out of the sky and picking him up. He said it was our moms hand. I am not very spiritual, but this is the second time something like this has happened in my life. What does it all mean? Any answer would be appreciated. Thanks.
