If God, insisted everyone should not pray to another excpet for him, wouldn't that be considered egoistical. And if so, wouldn't that be considered one of the deadly sins. And would that make God Imperfect. Please don't tell me God is above that.

Ok, i'm doing a Paster Project for religion on stewardship.

The objective of this project is to the encourage the students of my school to take better care of the earth, make “greener” choices in their lives, meet their responsibility as God’s stewards of the earth, and show them examples of what they can do to help save the earth.

The expectations for this projects are to show the teacher that you understand what stewardship is and what is involves today. Use pictures and symbols to express your thoughts and convictions. Your poster should be colourful and organized. You must also include written work that is typed and gives and explanation of what your poster is saying.

Now I don’t really need help with much. All I need help with is to find a catchy slogan for the poster, almost like a headline in the newspaper that catches your attention. Please help me by giving me some examples of a catchy slogan I can use!!!!!!!!!!

It's hard enough to go on a first date with someone you like. There's all that pressure of, what will I say? What if I do something stupid? What if they carry a gun? What if I get something in my teeth? What if they try to kiss me? What if I do something to offend them? What if they think I'm staring at their crotch instead of at them? What if they're a deranged psychopath? But can you imagine the stress level of God asking you out on a date?

The tests seem a bit vague to me. Give me some scriptural references if you know them. Some examples would also help - the Buddha, St Paul, Mohammed, Martin Luther, the Popes, Joseph Smith, Billy Graham and the other Evangelicals, the Rev Moon.....How do we know who we should listen to?

"Either the Bible is the Word of God or it isn't."

Is there a middle ground?

If Atheists knew, and the Christians didn't know, that the 'end times' was near, would Christians be upset if the Atheists were kind enough to tell them ??

I am serious about this. I do want to know both sides of the story.

Whatever your beliefs. . . .. . Let's agree to not show hatred in your answers. Thank you.

It seems alot of people gladly show off their ignorance and stupidity here. Their understanding of God is childish, even by a child's standards. They enjoy making fools of themselves !!

Ive studied Islam for many years, and it wasnt until recently that I could even understand why anyone, even a single person would believe in this religion.

What I learned is that for the vast majority of Muslims, the decision to follow is not even a matter of faith, and certainly not a matter or intellectual investigation, but merely an emotional/psychological attachment to the powerful rituals and a closed end familial anchor.

Every Muslim knows that leaving Islam means losing ones entire family, at the very least (being killed otherwise).

So, in fairness to the Islamic community within Yahoo Q&A, I offer this question as an opportunity to share the most complelling reason to believe Islam is the true belief.

What I am not asking for:

Im NOT asking for you to tell what Islam is, Im asking you to give the most compelling reason to join Islam

Im NOT asking you to send me to a website. You dont have a reason, fine. Next.

GIVE YOU MOST COMPELLING REASON TO BELIEVE.

One of the big complaints voiced against Islam is that adherents too often do not condemn Muslims who advocate violence.

However, we all know people with whom we share a world view who is prone to saying things that embarrass us or that paint our religion/stance in a bad light.

For example, although I'm a gay atheist, I disagree with Elton John that religion should be banned. I wish he had shown a bit more tolerance and recognition that Christianity is not monolythic.

Who in your own religious or philosophical group do you wish would "put a sock in it"? Feel free to name more than one.
