Is that the same kind of logic that some people use to defend their religious books?

We go to a little church that does not have any financial trouble that we are aware of. We are huge Gosphel for Asia fans and currently support one missionary and one child. We were thinking of diverting all of our support of the local church to GFA Missionaries. What are your thoughts?

Truth for the most part is given through revelation through the Holy Spirit; no different then when it is revealed that healing is for today, baptism of the Spirit, etc. The big question is, would you be willing to forsake you denomination, to be lead by the Spirit of truth if more truths were revealed to you.
Would you be a slave to an organization, or a bond servant to the Master?

First off, I don't think deaths in the name of religion were at all acceptable (homocide bombings by Muslims, crusades, protestant and Catholic inquisitions, etc.)

Officially atheistic societies have caused the most deaths in this century especially, Stalin 20Mill, Hitler 8Mill, China 80Mill, abortion, and many, many more. Why dont people recognize this?

I'm not going against god, I am meerey helping to reveal the ture nature of being.

The answer to the question:

I am sitting at my computer right now. I look up, and see the wall in front of me, beyond that, another wall, beyond that, outside of my home; form there, the trees,road and so on. Ok, lets think bigger, beyond the trees, road, town that I live in and country; lets keep going... Our planet, the solar system, galaxy, and so in in the foward direction. What I have learned, tells me that I can travel in that direction for infinity and never reach the end of it all. OK. So what I know is that I can travel in one direction forever and never reach the end. At the end of that journey (if there is truly is none, as logic sugguests) I should turn around; then begin the same journey into infinity, in the opposite direction, forever without destination. This tells me that right now, that I am at the center of the universe; as are all of you. More to come...

Why do people suddenly become religious? I am talking about how people who had been atheist their entire life, suddenly deciding they believe in God because they are close to death or a loved one dies. I don't believe in God, and could never imagine changing my opinion. No offense to those people, but if they changed their opinions so quickly did they ever really NOT believe in God?

Is this what G-d wants from us? What do you belive he is saying right now? What is your Jesus's, Mose's, Buddha's, Brahma's....what are they thinking as they look down at us right now? Squabbling and talking to each other in such cruel and horrible ways......have you no shame? Threats, foul languge... is it nessacary when speacking of somthing like religon? Why does it seem like some people spend WAY more time trying to argue why their religion is the CORRECT religion and/or try to press their religion on others instead of just practicing their religion and being happy with it?
