I have seen some "religious" people bash gays and do nothing but hate them, but the true Christian does not hate anyone at all, and they do not bash anyone either. Gay people feel that way because that is what has happened to them from people who claim to love God...but the word of God is REAL clear..."anyone who hates their brother is a murderer". It also says "if you can not love your brother, who you can see, you can not love God, who you can not see."...anyone who claims to be holy and hates is a liar and deceives himself.

One's sexuality is integral to who they are and how they understand themselves as a human being. To say that this part of them is sinful and an abomination (Leviticus' words, not mine) is thus to say they are an abomination. It is to say that the desire that they have to love and be loved is sinful. Isn't it possible that the Bible is wrong about some aspects of human nature? It seems illogical to me that most gay and lesbian people would choose to be so. I'm sure some do, and why they would I'm not sure. But to take the personal experience and testimony of the reality of most gay people and deny it simply because the Bible says so is bad logic and bad theology. Embracing and loving a person also means embracing and loving who and what they are (some exceptions of course - we don't embrace murderers or rapists, but it is difficult to argue that homosexual persons who love one another are hurting or abusing anyone). Also, I don't feel like getting in to it now, but the Bible is not clear at all when it concerns homosexuality. No scholar is certain of what the words in the N.T. means, and the passages concerning same sex relationships in the O.T. appear in passages that we otherwise ignore or neglect, it is a matter of consistency there.

Hate the sin, love the sinners. I don't agree with their life style. I worked in the fashion industry, so it's a given that most of my friends were gay. They know what I believe, but I never hate them. Hating them means that I will close the opportunity for me to speak the truth.

Of course it's possible. The world would be a better place if everyone could learn to disagree and accept gays at the same time. You don't have to agree to accept and respect it.
I personally don't agree with people being gay, but I respect it and believe everyone has free will and can do as they please. I wouldn't judge someone because they are that way, that's their business.

I am commanded in the Bible to love my neighbor (anybody), so that means loving the gay people. But I definitely do not agree with what they do. I don't know any gay people, but I'm told to treat them just like I treat anybody else. It's just gross to see a gay couple involved in any PDA--really gross. No, disagreeing does not equal hate at all. It just means that I do not support what they do and want nothing to do with their gay-ness (for lack of any better word). But that doesn't mean that I dislike gay people just as people--only what they do.

Yes believers love the gay and the gay do not think so because believers do not love the homosexual act so if the gay people want to continue doing this they say they are not loved because then they feel they can do without religion and that gives them the excuse to continue doing the homosexual acts.

This is left between God and the gay person. It is wrong just like lying is wrong. Being in a man on man or woman on woman relationship is no different from lying as far as sin goes and we are all gonna have to answer to God one day. Just like lying, stealing, and any other sin is a choice so is homosexuality a choice!! In this world we all have time and choices, so I ask you what will you choose? Hopefully you will choose JESUS CHRIST!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some people don't, but I personally have no proiblem with gay people. All sins are the same in God's eyes, we all sin, and it's not my place to judge others for their sins.

i also believe that being gay is not choice ( i dont know anyone who would subject themself willingly to something so difficult to deal with )
and i believe that God sees no wrong in love ... no matter what gender ... love is love
