Fate is not a Christian teaching. God does have a plan and a way God would like us to choose and give instructions in the Bible and through sermons and religious study but God does not force us to make any decission and does not impose God's will on us. We are the master of our own destiny but with God and following God's direction we can achieve great and wounderous things and have God's assistance in doing so. If we choose another way we loose God's help and God may try to steer us in a different direction especially if the road we are on is truly dangerous. Even then we choose to follow the path we are on or change course.

It is all our choice.

Free will, Fate is many see it doesn't exist, or there is no free will. However, in a sense, Destiny does exit. In other words, you are put on this earth for a purpose, God has a purpose for you. But your choices and life will define the purpose, that an all knowing God already knows. You still have your free will, and it's your choices and how they affect you and those around you define you purpose that God has destined you for. (sorry, no Matrix theme intended)

Choice and fate are two different things, fate we have no control over but we always have choices to make. For instance we are destine to met certain people because God puts people in the world and does things to make sure they are where he needs them to be at certain times, we can not control that...BUT Choice we can make rather to drink that beer or not, rather to get up out of the bed or keep laying there, rather or not we will accept God or turn our back on him, what we believe or what we will not believe. Fate we have no control over but the choice we make when we make them we do. Sure God may know what choices I am going to make but that does not mean that he did not allow me to choose on my own.

You choose to do what is in your heart, live by your own... integrity.
You are made in the image of God... so... what is it that is in your heart?

Come on you know...
...Could it be Gods ultimate plan.

Look up "The dream giver" God put those dreams into your heart so you would play them out; in his honor.

Dear brother

Peace be upon you

i can simplify it to you in a few words....

you choose what you are meant and destined to choose........so it is destined that you choose......

or...

suppose you have a kid....and this kid doesnt study or do his homework.....what will happen he will fail........so...u already know he will fail because he doesnt study.........and he fails.......

did you force him to fail..no.....u already know whats going to happen.,.....but u didnt interfere with it,......u just watched......

....but ...lets just think pholosophically here...if god chooses what you do...and forces you to do things........so...why there is hell and paradise.....why there is punishment and so.......if u r forced....then there will be no reason for paradise or heaven or hell to exist.........but......the truth is .....that you choose you choose waht to do.....to be bad or good...to steal or buy....to marry ot commit adultry...........but ...god already KNOWS...what u r going to do.....and will account you for your deeds!!!

some one can say...well i didnt choose to be tall or short fat or thin.....the color of my eyes...or so....but however..it is a simple answer.....you are what you fit to be.....your body fits your soul.......but how u know.....that this fit and this cant......you dont......because you dont know the essense of you the reality of you......r u a soul ...r u a body....or a combination.......but what is soul...no one knows.....only god...........the modern medical science still doesnt know how the memory in the brain is working...they still dont know how the brain works...ask a doctor......they dont know..how a man die......

......

i am sorry.....i said too much....just wanted to help.....

please ...if u want to know ...just pay aa visit to near by mosque and ask the imam there......or just click on the sites below!!!

i recommend to read about avicenna...(IBN SINA)....he illustrated these matters long time ago......and (AL GHAZALY)

Peace be upon you.....

Interesting question. I don't believe in fate. My husband does. It's paradoxical to me. However, I did have a pastor that once said it's like a doorway - on one side the plaque says - welcome, please enter - but it's your choice to do so - on the other side the plaque reads - welcome, you have been chosen. A paradox my little simple mind cannot quite wrap around. I guess I'll have to ask God when I see Him.

God knows what is going to happen to us. So that can be looked at as our fate.

But we don't know what is going to happen when we make choices (free will)
