The person with the best reason for me to log off gets 10pts. And yes this is a spiritual issue.

You're on it because you've become addicted to spending time on it. You're addicted because it allows you to forget other responsibilities and frustrations, although time spent on the computer does little to solve any of your problems, and through wasting time, may actually add to them. You stay on longer than you intend, and you use it as a crutch to deal with the negatives in your life rather than fixing them.

The only reason to log off is to face up to the things you need to accomplish. Logging off puts you face-to-face with your own life, and will allow you to address all the issues left unattended while you've used your computer time to pretend your anxiety is quelled somewhat. Your spiritual life awakens away from the computer.

Log off to live. Sitting here is a pale facsimile to real life.

I thought about this question for awhile. I had a hard time relating the two. Spirituality and the computer. I consider myself a spiritual person, it helps me in my daily life, there are always things that come up during the day that require a person to use humility instead of pride........to be spiritual instead of spiteful. There are a lot of hardcore religions that prevent followers from doing this or that, I know of none that have any objections to the electronic age, or the computer. I'm sure many have found it useful in their works. I spend a good deal of time on Yahoo Answers, I try to add humility and spirituality when the answer calls for it. When I'm alone, at night, I find having the keyboard to express my thoughts, soothing, I probably say things to it, I'd only say in prayer..........after all, I'm still on it. Have a good night!
