We are all sinners, but we have qualities about us that make us saints and heros. Being human isn't so bad and doing our best is all we can do.

Read about the lives of the Saints...they all loathed themselves and thought of themselves as the worst of all people. And this from people who would float when they would pray. Amazing.

The closer you get to God the further you feel from Him,,,that is why He draws close to you as you draw close to Him because your natural reaction is to run away and hide, because of your lack of holiness. But God's grace enables us to participate in Him.

We are all sinners.

I am still a sinner and will be until I see Jesus face to face. Everyone still breathing is still a sinner, that is why we need God to forgive us every day. Sanctification is a process that takes your entire life to complete.

Well, I'm not perfect for I still have selfish desires. Even if I am an atheist, I'm still a sinner by my own considerations...so...where's the beer?

You didn't go and buy into that crud about man being evil by nature did you? Man was created in the image of God and that
is never a bad thing, you are special and precious and never
let some hypocritical zealot tell you otherwise

Sin is not part of personal theology, but I know that people are capable of doing bad things. However, these transgressions are against other people, not God. We should take responsibility for our own actions and strive towards selflessness.
