My husband whom if you answered my last question does not believe in god, but he also does not limit the capabilities of man.
I am a massage therapist and I can put my hands on people and know exactly what is going in their body, and what the orgin is. They may say it's their back, and I will say no the problem is your glutes.I have taken away headaches in 3 minutes that people cant get rid of that they have had for days, and popped pain relievers. Now with that being said. My husband knows I can do this, and he also knows that I am afraid of the power that I have. And he says that I am looking for something that can help me with this, because I cant believe it is myself. He says I am a vessel and that I have limited abilities just like anyone esle, I am just more aware of it, he says. That is me living my full self, and not half. He says that I want to believe that it is something else, because I need to know there is something protecting me. What do you think?

This is a SO CALLED Atheist. I say he's a Christian with a Christian agenda

Think about this answer he gave

" I'm also an Athiest but was raised Christian. You and I both made our own decision when we were old enough - I assume our kids will too. Let them go to church if they like it - if they don't like it don't force them."

What Atheist will force their children to go to church?

I've heard the word "faith" a lot here. Does it mean you have faith that:

the Bible is correct
there really is a God
Christians will go to heaven

or something else altogether?

I grew up christian... I became atheist as an adult. My husband is christian, as well as pretty much ALL my friends and family. My dilema is... should I take my kids to church so they have a faith to believe in? Should I allow that, not believing in it myself? In a way I kind of feel like I'm allowing them to believe in something like Santa Clause or something. But also, in a way, I wouldn't mind them having something to believe in.... and I don't want them to be outcasts, being the only ones not to go to church. I'm not sure what to do but I've been thinking about it a lot lately....

my best friend had a child that is very sick and she might die ive been with her since the beiging even stayed at the hospital with her for 6 mouths in a aonther state away from my kids and family . learing how to take care of my godchild with this sickness learned how to run the many machines that keeps her alive and when we get home nurses to help take care of her im the one that shows them how to use the machines cuz they are not familier with them .and then all of the sudden her dad and her just went off on me for no apperent reason and theranten me and my family to the point that i had to call the sherrif and make a police report on him . i dont know if god is telling me that it is time to let them go or the devil trying to sepperate us since i led her to jesus . and she lives next door . just wanted to know some other thoughts on this

How are we supposed to believe 100% in this religion when so much of it can't be proven at all. Like Jesus being born to a virgin. How do we have proof that he actually is/was the Son of God? Are we supposed to believe it just because he walked around saying it? Would we believe someone if they said that today? Also, these miracles that he performed. Might it have been lack of scientific knowledge that made some things appear to be miracles when they actually had a valid, scientific reason behind them? We know so much more than we did a hundred years ago. Imagine the lack of knowledge back then. How can we attribute anything that happened back then to Jesus being the Son of God. One more thing, i've been talking to a couple of hardcore Christians who say themselves that half of what is in the bible was probably figurative. So, how am I supposed to base my supernatural existence on a book that is missing information or has fabricated information?

Help me out here.

The Ques is... Who is Solomon's LORD when the LORD speaks to him that night? Was It Jesus? Or God?

Why does David or Solomon or anybody before Jesus NEVER mention the name "Jesus Christ" if he's the LORD the Almighty? They are the great messenger of God right?

Can any one please help with anywhere to even find help?
Have been cna for past 27 years am off work 3 mo. do to back surgery Disk in my lower back collapsed had spinal fusion on 3 levels L5 through L3 and stabililizer at L2 and L1 Last month I called every church in phone book for help with billsOut of all the churches I found 2 to help with rent and elec also go to churches for food am uneligible for unemployment as i am unable to work you have to be able and available for work to get unemployment I will be returning to my job in jan My rent is due for this month and I have no where to turn for help As cna I live paycheck to paycheck. can anyone please help. rent is $550 I'll worry about next month next month. any thing will help even a dollar. I know this isn't what this site is for but I don't know what else to do. My brother met a black Christian (cant remember where he is from). They were talking about Christianity and he said Jesus is not the son of god. I was suprised by this statement. He said most Christians do not practise their religion. They dont know what they are talking about. Do you know the name of this group and where i can get more info abt them? Please no answers like he aint a Christian coz he rejected christ as son of god and he is going to hell or copy and pastes where it says he is son of god. If i want to know who is or isnt a Christian, i would ask. If you can help, thanks. Still, watch all the negative answers.
