"The Prophet Joseph Smith taught, 'Ordinances instituted in the heavens before the foundation of the world, in the priesthood, for the salvation of men, are not to be altered or changed.'"
In 1836, "...Joseph Smith declared that he `had now completed the organization of the Church, and we had passed through all the necessary ceremonies,'" (pp. 35-36)
"Five years later in Nauvoo, on 19 January 1841, a new revelation... (concerning) `your anointings, and your washings, and your baptisms for the dead....' Thus, the Saints who had been previously anointed in Kirtland learned that those rituals were a precursor to new ceremonies," (p. 36)
During the Nauvoo Period, a ceremony called the second anointing was introduced.
The list of changes goes on and on and on, If all things were done and things cant be changed, Why have they ?
The last temple change was in 1990, over 100 years of divine corrections ?

and be allowed to do so legally, even though it's against the Word of God, why aren't Christians allowed to discipline their children according to God's Word without people crying child abuse and trying to have their children taken away from them?
(I'm not judging, I'm merely asking a question), and please note there is a difference between disciplining God's way, and beating a child.

He tried to warn us to find Jesus or go to hell. This was my response:

I found him. I work with him. I have also worked with other members of the Christian pantheon like the Archangel Michael. I am Wiccan.

I also work with a host of other gods and goddess from various religious pantheons. And guess what? Jesus and the members of the Christian pantheon smile on it and accept it. They know that they are all a part of a greater whole.

You, on the other hand, find yourself in a religious claustrophobic box of hatred towards others of differing beliefs. All the prayer in the world will not save you from your own ignorance. And yes. One day you will find yourself in the heaven you so aggressively proselytize about. You will be with your kind. A group of like minded xenophobes who are terrified of anything that is slightly different from yourselves.

A certain religious follower that got busted brings this to mind....

These 'leaders' you so blindly follow are probably just gay themselves and that is why they preach against this, because they're afraid to admit it. Preaching out against it to a crowd is their self-assurance they won't be questioned or busted, but it's just fear of themselves and denial. Same could be said of the bible authors themselves that wrote about 'homosexuality being wrong to God'....they were probably gay.

LONDON, England (AP) -- Organized religion fuels anti-gay discrimination and other forms of bias, pop star Elton John said in an interview published Saturday.

"I think religion has always tried to turn hatred toward gay people," John said in the Observer newspaper's Music Monthly Magazine. "Religion promotes the hatred and spite against gays."

"But there are so many people I know who are gay and love their religion," he said. "From my point of view, I would ban religion completely. Organized religion doesn't seem to work. It turns people into really hateful lemmings and it's not really compassionate."

John also criticized religious leaders for failing to do anything about conflicts around the world.

"Why aren't they having a conclave? Why aren't they coming together?"

John said those in his own field have been similarly lax.

"It's like the peace movement in the '60s. Musicians got through to people by getting out there and doing peace concerts, but we don't seem to do them any more," he said. "If John Lennon were alive today, he'd be leading it with a vengeance."

We are the non-Christians. Yet we read and sometimes answer questions that are aimed at the Christian community. When a twelve year old child asks a relevant question about Christianity, do we have the right to give them a warped, negative, or perverse answer? In my opinion...NO.

But it is happening regardless. What do you think?

If you have read "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy", you will know where I am coming from. Here are the questions:
1. Where "God" went wrong? ( I don't count)
2. Some more of "Gods" mistakes? (I still don't count)
3. Who is this "God" person anyway? ( I know I don't count)
