Hi, I have constantly asked the same question and have advised Christians on this forum to leave these questions alone, to not even click on them as they will only disturb their peace.
in this way all those who post vile comments will finally be wasting their time as no reaction is unfulfilling to them.

I tend to think that it's not that people love conflict so much as it is that people are conflicted. Children are no longer taught to think for themselves, at least in this country, and get so many conflicting messages from the adults around them that they don't know who or what to believe....this follows them into adulthood.
With the population being what it is, there is little chance for them to learn to think logically and so they argue in circles. I think people want and need truth...but they have no idea how to find it for themselves.

I don't think that's the way it should be. People have a right to have their own opinions, as long as they respect the opinions of others as well. I think because religion is one of the most important things in peoples' lives, they are passionate about it and want to prove to others that what they believe is right - no matter who gets hurt in the process.

If the question is easier to answer then you're going to get a lot of responses. All the easier to get your points- maybe for some its a contest of points. I guess that shows the depth of many on here.

Perhaps because it's easy to insult back and get seriously upset than it is to answer a real question. Might require them to use their brains lol
