I would say so, because we're all born atheist and must be taught to believe in one god or another. Those who come back around to either disbelief or flexibility of thought are in a sense "born again" atheists or agnostics.

"We can't be born again, although we can change." - Fruits Basket
'Born again' is a phrase only Christians use to illustrate their beliefs that accepting the faith is like being reborn without the sin they think we are all born with the first time.
If someone sheds the cloak of illusion they were raised with, it's enlightenment, not rebirth - unless that seems an appropriate metaphor for how they feel.
Others will use the phrase, but it's facetious.

Being born again is much more than a 'thang', as you call it. To be born again is to die to sin, and be born into righteousness through Jesus Christ. You walk with God, and strive to sin no more. You seek fellowship with Christ, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost to receive the power of your faith. Without that power, you are helpless to come against that which is not of God. With it, you can lay hands on a sick or lame person and heal them through the power of Jesus Christ. As an athiest, which has faith in nothing, and believes in nothing, there is nothing. No power, no glory to God, no nothing. You can think what you like. You have that GOD GIVEN right to choose to believe the truth, or believe a lie and be damned. As far as catholic school survivors being born again, I seriously doubt that.

I don't know anyone who was born more than once. Most of us were born properly the first time and thereafter grow much too large to do it again.

Born again means you're born to that belief, leave it for some time and then go back to it. In order to be Born-Again Atheist, you have to be born atheist, leave atheism and then go back to it.

If that's what your bamboo is. Sad that you will continue to reject the truth just because you had a bad experience. So what will the next panda be? This one probably won't be deleted.
