What is the point of doing all this waiting?

I am going to see heaven anyway.

Why can't I see it right now?

Why can't I leave this earth right now and go see heaven for myself?

the Torah? If he had really wanted to explain better Gods word to those who did not understand, why didn't he just do that? I think he was fooled by Satan that Gabriel came down, I think it was a fallen angel leading him away from God and forming a belief against God's word. Who agrees?

give thumbs down to an honest answer to a question

someone asked if there was a God and i gave a valid answer that there is no proof one way or another
that someone has to have their own personal proof
does this kind of answer merit some thumbs down ?

these thumbs down make no difference to me , but i am trying to understand what makes a person think someone is so wrong when they are simply presenting an arguement for both sides and remaining neutral on a question .. i see this so often ?

Okay the Bible says that Hell is full of fire and molten brimstone. Brimstone, or sulfur as it is commonly known, has a melting point of only 115°C and a boiling point of 445°C. Knowing that the Sun burns at a temperature of 5500°C, would you say that the Sun IS hotter than Hell?

Whack! The soldier's baton hit me hard against my back, knocking out any illusions I had about women's progress here in Afghanistan. The burka – the head-to-toe garment that has come to symbolise women's oppression in Afghanistan - is now optional, according to the Karzai government. Yet, my Afghan translator and I were physically punished for not wearing them. I was hit from behind. She was hit square on her chest. Are women better off now? In our journey across the country, we found women still fearful of being punished if they don't wear their burkas, if they speak without permission from their male relatives, if they venture out into the workplace. But for many women, re-entering public life is still risky. Najiba Asseed, a young woman who has returned to Kabul University medical school, wants to become a doctor. She's facing heavy opposition from her husband and death threats from her brother

The court heard that the victim and her friend were followed by the assailants to their

This seems a more likely explanation of the angel rape attempt. besides homosexuals are not known to have any predeliction for angels or for rape. And angels being another species entirely it is not even attempted same-species rape let alone homosexual rape. And then too why on Earth would Lot offer his two daughters to the mob of men in the angels place if he thought the men were homosexuals...it doesn't makes a lot sense (no pun intended).
