If you are a student of the bible and believe in Jesus Christ this is your answer;
This goes back to the original argument in the garden of Eden. Does God have the right to rule us or can we do it on our own? That was the challenge presented by Satan to Eve at Gen 3:4..."you positively will not die for God knows ...your eyes opened and your bound to be like God, knowing good and bad. Remember that all of the angels were present to witness this rebellion. If God were to have just destroyed Adam, Eve and Satan that would not have answered the challenge of God's right to rule us.
God is not creating the wars and badness (evil) but he is allowing enough time to pass to prove beyond any doubts that man cannot direct his own steps. No human government is going to guide us and solve all problems. We need God. What seems like a long time to us is just a drop in the ocean of time.
We are waiting for God's government, this is the kingdom that we pray for in the "Our Father..." prayer, you know, let your kingdom come, let your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Dan 2:44 is very clear on how this kingdom is going to crush and put an end to all these (human) governments and will rule forever. Jesus is the King of the kingdom. He is in heaven. It is only reasonable to think there will be subjects of the kingdom. They will be the "the righteous themselves will possess the earth and they will reside forever upon it" Psalms 37:29
God is patient and loving. If he were to stop the wars and violence that man is doing it would be helping Satan prove his point that we don't need God.
Also, remember that Satan is the one controlling the govenments. Right after Jesus was baptised he went up on the mtn., Matt 4:8
Satan showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory and he said to Jesus, "All these things I will give you if you fall down and do an act of worship to me". If Satan did not controll them, how would they be a temptation to Jesus and how could he offer them.
Be very careful where you put your loyalty.
It is Jehovah's Kingdom with Jesus as King that you need to pledge you loyalty to.
Wars will stop, everlasting life and peace will come. Isa 65:21-25 is beautiful, it shows some of the promise awaiting us. The conditions of the earth and how we will live.

It's God's way of balancing things. Because no matter how harsh wars are, they somehow could bring the goodness in people. Think about 911. Because we live in a very fast-paced world, most of us take for granted the most important things in life, like family, friends, charity, relationships. People don't seem to care. But after 911, everthing changed. Yes, it was cruel but it also brought out the little heroes in each of us. And it brought people back to God. Made us think that everything is but temporary and so we should live our life accordingly and value the people we love.

Human-kind, emphasis on man and not kind, in this particular case is given free will and choice as the ultimate gift from Source. So we as a species need to take responsiblity for our actions and quit blaming others/GOD.

Neither.
It's God fulfilling His word to purge the world of wickedness, by preparing it for Jesus' Second Coming.
The Bible states that man would destroy this world and himself except that the Lord intervenes.

God wants us to have free will - He doesn't want robots, he wants humans. But the price tag of free choice is the real possibility that people will pick the evil choice.
The key is to blame the people who do evil, and not blame God.

Mohamed the prophet of Islam is a descendant of Ishmael.
Genesis 16:11-12, "And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction. And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren."
