Because we are the only ones smart enough to. And of course I think we really need to get over ourselves,I mean a threat to mother Earth, please! The Earth could shrug us off like a fly anytime it chooses as has been proven time and time again. We will be gone a million years from now and the Earth will still be here doing what it does. Even if we were to virtually destroy the Earth in a global nuclear war, throwing it off it's axis, guess what it would heal and even the thousands of years it took to do that would be only days to the Earth.

We are not... cattle are the major contributor to Green house gasses. Well Volcanos are too, but that is mother earth just doing some house cleaning.
A good remedy is for you to be a good leader and take a long hike off a short cliff. If many follow then mankind will no longer be a threat.

We ask silly questions like why did our Creator make bugs? But bugs till the soil,
pollinate the plants. Feed the birds.
The question should be, why did he make us?
My understanding is that our Creator made this world to be a "vacation spot" for the
spirit world. So we could come here and enjoy the beauty. Watch the animals play.
But we hung around too long and got trapped here by the forces that create
this material world. THEN, He had to make the human form for our spirits to
live in.
The book of Hebrews, chapter 11 says, that the ones who are faithful know,
"They are strangers and pilgrims in this world!"

Because the earth was created for mankind, and mankind is the steward of the earth. God gave mankind the free agency, and it just happens there are those that choose to respect and honor their stewardship.

Nobody is posing any threat to the Earth. Unless we make a really huge bomb and blow the Earth up, it will be here for the next few million years. The Earth will survive long after we kill ourselves off.
However, we do pose a threat to ourselves and other animals on this Earth. There have been other animals that have also threatened the existence of themselves and other animals. Most of them are now extinct.

Because Mankind can think. What you think can lead to betterment or deterioration.
Thats why we need to be constantly in touch with mother earth to realize this. But that is not possible through your mind.
Only when thoughts stop can you feel the presense of the ONE. This ONE we humans refer to as GOD.

Why is mankind the only creature posing a threat to ABBA Father, Daddy God. (Not that we could harm Him in any way, but we do a number on His flawless reputation).
