Do you ever question your beliefs? Do people ever tell you that you are judgemental, but you see it as simply trying to help people make wise choices & better themselves? Do you have a lot of people that you are actually close friends with but whose words and/or actions are against everything you feel to be morally right? I was just put in a very uncomfortable situation last night and I felt so out of place. A man told me to my face that he basically really 'hates' me because some of the things I said to him were very judgemental and I was butting into his life & his choices. But in my mind/heart I was only saying things to lift him up, to try to make him a better person and to help him change his life becuase I care about him. ( he does coke and I made some statement about what kind of people are who do that and what it turns them into)...yes my words were pretty harsh, but i have very strong opinions about that because I've experiened it in my family/friends. Was i wrong?

Was it kind of a do-over to see if another free-willed creation would reject him after some of his angels did? If i really was omnicsient wouldn't he already know the outcome? Why would he have to create anything if he already knows everything?

With all this talk of death, and it being a Friday and all,

-What do you think is the worst possible way to die?-

(I don't want answers "The worst way to die is by not having Jesus in your life") I'm talking about how would you HATE to die. We are all going to kick the bucket someday so just wanted to know if you could make sure you didn't die this way, what would it be?

Mine? I'd hate to die slowly, drowning, buried alive or crushed. I'd rather a quick death then have my last few moments on Earth to be drawn out and painful.

(sorry if anyone finds this offensive, this is a innocent question)

Does the bible have the answer?

I hear from both sides (both Theists and Non-Theists, Believers and Non-Believers) that the other side is rude, judgemental, arrogant, ignortant, etc. I am agnostic and I have seen believers behave this way as well as non-believers who share my beliefs.

I know good people who are non-believers and I know good people who are believers. So why is it that we see so many arrogant and judgemental people on both sides of the spectrum when we know that there are so many good people out there?

The ones who yell the loudest are the ones who are heard. Those who are not pushy or arrogant sit on the sidelines and do not get involved. This is why both sides think the other side is so terrible - because the 'good' people are not the people shoving their beliefs down our throats and belittling other people for their convictions.

Every group whether it be race, gender, religion, or political party has bad apples - it's not just us non-believers and it's not just believers, either.

i have this quote....."Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all thing, hopes all things, endures all things." .... this is the section of the bible it came from..1 Corinthians 13:4-7
now my question is, how do i quote it. like i write the quote and then would it be like ..endures all things." -1 Corinthians 13:4-7
or would i use parenthesis or what

Many people who follow a religion (including myself) are not scared of dying, their many concern is to be good in this world and the life after would be good. Some even look forward to it! So I was wondering if Atheists think that their is no life after death then would you not be scared of dying?

I am not trying to put anyone down, am just curious. don't do any bashing!

Required, somewhat advanced skills in astral projection, various areas of metaphysics, and or witchcraft/sorcery. Your will-power to do this must be strong, also, the process involves switching-lifelines. I've been praying to cross paths with someone who's not all talk, or who merely has a hollow curiousity. I've had dreams that I met my "twin-flame" by posting this. Although, I could care less about meeting my twin-flame, as long as I meet someone who's worth their salt. About me? My vehicle is age 26, very healthy, and handsome too. I'm looking for the experience, and thrill, so I don't care who I switch with, as long as the person isn't all talk. No one under 21, or over 47. I'm willing to make the exchange more fair for the other person, rather than myself, simply to increase the chances for success. If you're interested, feel free to SAY something in response. Try me.

Do you say long prayers or short prayers, out loud or under your breath. Do you do it at home more often than in public? Just a survey.

Eph 2:5-10 Even when we were dead in sins, has quickened us together with Christ...For by grace you are saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest anyone should boast.
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, where God's purpose that we should walk in them.

The majority of religious answers on this site have reaffirmed my beliefs that religion is a load of crap. Most of the religious people who answer on this site are judgemental and uneducated and think that they can put shame on others who don't believe some made up stories. Anyone else feel this way?
