With all this talk of death, and it being a Friday and all,
-What do you think is the worst possible way to die?-
(I don't want answers "The worst way to die is by not having Jesus in your life") I'm talking about how would you HATE to die. We are all going to kick the bucket someday so just wanted to know if you could make sure you didn't die this way, what would it be?
Mine? I'd hate to die slowly, drowning, buried alive or crushed. I'd rather a quick death then have my last few moments on Earth to be drawn out and painful.
(sorry if anyone finds this offensive, this is a innocent question)

Uh, well, even though my ID is "fyre_and_reign" I have no desire to ever burn to death. The thought of feeling my flesh cook... choking on the smoke, trapped... my hair catching fire, being unable to stop it from making my nerve endings ache.... blisters...
Think about it. Why do you think witches and heretics got burned to death? It wasn't because it's a fun experience.
Drowning, too, sucks. They would hold women underwater and, if she didn't drown, it meant that she was a witch but if she drowned she was found innocent of witchcraft but dead anyway. Anything to do with smothering bugs me but, then again, I've lived with chronic bronchitis and asthma most of my life and know that awful feeling of not being able to breathe for a minute or two and the fear that you're not going to be able to breathe because your broncial tubes are all spasmed out or you're alll congested with phlegm. It ain't pretty.

I agree with you- a slow death would be the worst. Suffocating and drowning are among the top. But because I'm twisted, I can think of a couple worse ways to die that I don't think are appropriate to post here.

Well that put me in a party mood, straight away!!! LMAO I would have to say drowning or being trapped in a burning building, or buried alive.....yeah I'd have to agree those are all pretty yucky! I'd rather die in my sleep when I'm old and grey (but still have all my teeth) Is that asking too much? :) ha!

Eaten alive... whether by a mountain lion or bear or other animal is bad but probably worst would be to be either staked out in the desert and the vultures or another animals come to poke your eyes out and eat your intestines while you're still alive, tied helplessly, or you get trapped in a rockslide or something like that and the vultures or rats or other animals come and start treating you like a zoological buffet... then the MAGGOTS start to infest your flesh...

I, personally, would hate to die in my sleep or in anyway that I wouldn't be aware of the fact I only have a few moments left. I'd rather drown than die in my sleep. I wanna go down in a blaze of glory.

I can think of the best way but the worst way there are a lot of them. Falling from a building and being impaled would be one way. Knowing you are going to die in a plane going down might be one.

I've had a particular fear of beheading ever since I read "A Tale of Two Cities". Nightmares and all. I don't know if it's true, but I've heard that your head stays conscious for a little while...horrid. Anything crushy, or removing parts of me, I'm not too stoked about...

I think it would be to burn to death when you are conscious. I mean you would feel all the pain, and know everything that is happening to you. In my town someone burned to death in a gas truck. He was conscious. The people that saw it said that his screams for help were terrible, but no one could help him.
