Actually, this is one of the questions that helped me decide to leave the Jehovah's Witnesses.
I'm sure you will get alot of hate replies from people who feel strongly about the Christian religions, but in reality... its questions like these that open the mind; something close-minded religions or cults don't want you to do.

Eh. Sorry to disappoint but angels having free will doesn't hinge on the fact that Satan rebelled. First, Satan is a miss translation. Second, God, assuming that god and satan exist, could have started the rebellion so as to present an evil to us to see if we were capable of making the right decisions. Angels are said to have no free will and it is said, something of the sort, that when man was to be let into heaven Satan then protested because it had always been place for angels alone, their paradise for serving god. Having humans, in the view of the satan in this story, in heaven would ruin heven because they already had god's love on earth and why should they serve someone who didn't love them and would cast them asside despite all they had done for him?

I believe God was looking for a people that would share in His creation and come to Him on His terms. God knows the outcome but through the process of free-will, a dedicated group of people will form to become the "family of God".
Everyone has a chance, but only some will choose.
I believe angels do have free-will. That accounts for the rebellion of Satan and a third of the angels.

Hene this is why the angels are so jealous of man, becasue they feel like an abondoned child for another creation(man) I wonder if this be the case is this what man has to look foward to when god decided to have another baby? And if the angels dont have free will then why does satan survive?

As I see it, God created the space-time continuum to demonstrate to the angels both the justice and depth of His love. If Lucifer's rebellion had been dealt with as an instant annihilation, the angels would have obeyed only in fear.
Humankind was in the image of God, but without the awareness of the spiritual conflict in heaven. When man fell, man spiritually died but became aware of evil. The redemption story that is ensuing, must be a 'mind-blower' in the spiritual realm....

Gen 2:20 -- So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him.
Few realize that this Scripture is a reflection on God; God wants "a helper comparable to him."
The angels DO have free will, as is obvious. And it is possible that they can do some creative chores. But they don't have the power, and mind of God; they weren't made in his image and likeness, as man is.
It is a common fallacy to believe that God knows the outcome of everything. That too should be obviously false. For throughout the Bible, God reveals that he tests man. He would not need to do that if he knew what he would always do. Those who prove, through their lifelong actions, that they always want to do good, will live with God forever.
{God, through his great intelligence, can predict certain outcomes and likely results. But for the most part, he brings about, through direct action, the results he wants (and 'predicts') (see: 1 Kings 22:19-22, 2 Chronicles 18:18-21).}
'Free will' directly infers surprises.

I don't know. I can tell you that the answer is not in the Bible. Therefor, any answer you get will be a person's personal opinion and impossible to verify. It is an interesting topic though.
As for being omniscient, we create things all the time while knowing the outcome. When I do carpentry, I really get ticked off when the outcome isn't what I expected when I started. I can't imagine why he would have chosen to create anything, but knowing the outcome isn't a problem.

The very same simple minded people who insist that angels don't have free will, are the ones who believe that Satan was an angel who rebelled against God. But maybe that wasn't free will. Perhaps he was just doing what God really wanted him to do. Maybe everyone who sins is actually doing God's will and Satan is just God behind a scary mask. Gosh. There are so many maybe's I just don't know what to do with my will.

solid question! in case you quite incredibly like a particular foodstuff, why could you choose to ever eat the rest? He chosen to create us and boy am I happy! you have heard properly nevertheless, in accordance to the Bible the angels that have remained honest to God haven't any desire for "salvation", they already have it. The angels that desperate to stick to devil (who grew to become into additionally an angel) will haven't any salvation because of the fact of their disobedience. As suitable creatures (like Adam and Eve) there grew to become into no excuse for them to disobey. We as decendants of imperfect mothers and dads desire salvation because of the fact we've been born genetically incorrect and destined to die if this corrupt Satanic equipment of issues maintains. the solid information is that devil's time is approximately up, and Almighty God will eliminate him and return his human introduction to this is unique state of perfection on a proper planet Earth for eternity. OPEN your Bible somewhat of only dusting off the conceal.

So that he could come down as a human, die, resurrect and watch us dirty little heathens fry in a huge lake for his pleasure. He created all of this knowing full well what was going to happen. So obviously this God has a thing for tormenting people while telling them "I love you... no, no no, REALLY I do!"
*Sigh*
I'm simply amazed at the contradictory answers you are getting to this. Angels don't have free will. Then obviously Satan is doing God's will and yet, he's going to throw him in this Lake of Fire?????? And if Satan is doing God's Will, the God obviously WANTS us to fall... or else that isn't in his Will. Round and round we go, like a merry go round... yet so many not seeing the circular reasoning in all of this.
