Yes, several times recently. It usually happens when I'm praying or meditating about God, a scripture or worship song. During such times all problems and concerns feel a million miles away. The sensation is one of being overwhelmed with love, beauty, power and holiness. It's just like being in heaven.
The sensation is not caused by meditation but by being in the presence of The Lord. It is Holy Spirit dwelling in the believer.

GOD is present with you at all times if you just pay attention. The other morning on my way to work I saw a rainbow and felt as if it was just for me. I have been going thru some things In my life lately and feeling a Little down. But the rainbow seemed to be my FATHERS way of saying"it's alright". Everyone talks about the out of ordinary things that happen when they come into the presence of GOD, but it is also the everyday little things that we take for granted. The color of the trees, the brightness of the stars, etc. These are our everyday contact with FATHER and all we have to do is open our hearts, eyes, and mind to his presence. I thank him each and everyday for his goodness and mercy and grace to allow me to witness his wonder.... THANK YOU FATHER

Two weeks ago I was worried about a personal situation. I decided to turn off the TV and pray. I also fasted that day for 12 hours. After that it was like a heavy weight was lifted off my shoulder. I felt a sense of peace flowing through my body. And the thing that I was praying for is working out in my favor.

I'm always thankful for God's presence, as he is ever present.
There was one time that was more powerful than any other though.
The sun literally got brighter and warmer, everything went silent and seemed to move in slow motion. God spoke to me, and I had the peace of God that surpasses all understanding.
It was an AWESOME experience.

Let me start with what I know.
A minor point, God did not reveal his/her/its gender in the bible; in fact, God created gender. I will use he to mean he, she, or it.
God is spirit. God is love, God existed before and created all we can observe. God's presence is everywhere in what we can observe and what we can not.
We worship (reverent love and devotion) God in spirit and in truth.
God may be everywhere, but our attention is else where. When we center our attention, on God, our heart beats (excitement), we are overwhelmed (by His glory) and tears (of joy) run down our face.
Being center with God is a great feeling. But how do we focus on God every day, all the time?

I have felt His presence, and it is the most wonderful feeling that I have ever had. It is like a spectacular peace inside and a happiness that words can't describe. Yes, I am like you in that it produces tears of joy.

That's the feeling that would convince all those looking for "proof". But, alas, you don't get there unless you are willing to accept one of the most basic truths, God's existence. And, beyond that, His presence. Acts 2 really sums it all up.
Don't ever take His touch for granted.

yes. Sometimes it feels like a warm blanket covering me on a cold winter day. Other times I just weep out of thankfulness and joy. then another time I feel like I never want to leave that spot and go back into the world.

yes. made me feel assured; kind of like what it must have felt like when I was a baby crying and my mom picked me up and made it better; that's the only thing I think I can relate it to in words
a feeling of wholeness, oneness, no stress, nothing negative
but did you know this experience (of feeling in the presence of something higher than ourselves) can be stimulated with the manipulation of the brain?
it is also, apparently, what men experience when they climax; their minds actually go completely blank for a split second
in other words, feeling this is not proof of God's existence; just proof of the power of emotion over our physical form
