In my life I have found that God does not play an important role. I do not go to church every sunday. I don't say my daily prayers. There is one thing however that I enjoy doing is studying the Bible and interpreting it, but I also feel like I am challenging my faith which does not bother me. I believe I am somewhat of an Atheist because I do not believe in God, but I believe there is something that happens when I die. I just choose not to worry about it. I feel that if I spent everyday of my life not thinking about going to hell I feel like a better person. I don't want to spend the rest of my life having nervous thoughts about going to Hell just because of something I did. So what is your opinion on God?

Seriously, if you read the stuff you read in the Bible in any other book would you accept it as fact. Talking snakes, boats filled with two of every living animal, paths forming across large bodies of water, people walking on water, witches living in gingerbread houses, and some dude being raised from the dead. Would you go, “Gee that sounds like something that really might have happened?”

My mother was killed in a car accident. She died on impact. The night before her funeral, I was sleeping at my Dad's house, and I was awakened in the middle of the night by a very bright light against my closed eyelids.I opened my eyes & saw two globe shaped balls of light hovering unevenly over me. It lasted for a few seconds. They took off as though they were traveling in a 3-dimensional way, as something you might see on TV, then disappeared.I know it was not a reflection of light from outside because my father had boarded up the bedroom window because of an air-conditioner he had installed. The bedroom door was also shut so there could have been source of light like this from inside the house.I thought she must be traveling with a guide. The night of her funeral, I felt her presence behind me.It felt like great love and compassion for my suffering.I felt her rub my back. When I spoke of this to others who were in the room, she disappeared.I do believe in God & heaven. What do u think?

The Trinitarianism claims that the "Son of God" had no beginning but here is a biblical question, When did God become the Father of Jesus? Here it is written, The Father says, "Today I have begotten you." Psalm 2:7

The vast majority of Trinitarian scholars would never advance this passage as any evidence for the Trinity that the "Son of God" was "eternally begotten."

Can Trinitarian scholars can find in the Bible that supports the idea that the "Son of God" was begotten eternally? Search in vain, Those things aren’t there.

Maybe these Satan's counterfeit Jesus, "God the Son" is begotten eternally but not the biblical "Son of God."

Why does satan offer alternatives to the Bible? Satan's counterfeit Jesus, "God the Son" is the same biblical as the "Son of God."

The teaching that Jesus Christ is God was made by the philosophies of men of the Catholic and Orthodox in Council of Nicaea, years after the Lord Jesus Christ had ascended to heaven and after the death of the apostles.

"Oh my gosh! Like, I can't believe it! This is awesome! A brand new car just popped magically from thin air into my garage! Sweet!"
Isn't this just wishful thinking? Or, is this possible for you? Forget the "billions of years," time is not important --- something's either possible or impossible. So, if the universe coming from nothing is plausible, isn't my brand new car coming into being from nothing plausible too?
You guys are smart people over all, just not when it comes to God.

Fear V. Love

It's not about being afraid of god it's about love.

Stop spreading your fear about.

If you are afraid of what's going to happen to you after you die and do things to affect that, then you are ultimately being selfish by being concerned by your (imaginary) afterlife above everything else around you.

Forget god, forget Jesus, forget allah, forget elephant-boy, and stop for a moment and take a look around you.

People are starving, people are oppressed, people are poor.

Let's stop talking about the "after-life" and help our brothers and sisters, love them as a god would...

That is the true meaning of religion, and I'm an atheist.

religion and establishments past and present ,have tried every trick in the book to upset the apple cart one way or another ,to make us question ourselves or judge who should and shouldnt have a free will.ie certain measures are in place to punish people, but why do they wrong against others if they have free will and should be content.are they denied their free will by others.my life in london is getting increasingly claustrophobic and limited by people in "charge" making outragous rules ,i feel i have lived a life that has been clean and upright (im no saint)but have to toe the line just the same as folk who constantly done bad all their life WHY?i do not like or need to be taught how to do the right thing i know from good upright parenting as a child what i should and should not do,and in a way police my self.just the same as others that feel the same way as i do.
