"Who cares? Our lives are better than yours.
Have you not seen a person be healed? It happens all the time, people's legs that were cut off grow back!!! Can science explain that?"- Carpe_Burrito

I wonder, what exactly keeps people like this out of the mental hospital? This answer was recent, just a few questions ago, in reply to a "religion is a misery" question.

We "Christian Soldiers" whom you all say are crazy are guided by our Lord Jesus Christ to Fellowship together to teach unbelievers the way. What you do with it is your choice, you ask, we tell, you do not care well neither do we. We know where we are going. Do you? You say we are crazy we are happy you do. That means we are closer in Christ being persecuted for his cause!!! We do not care, don't like what we preach? Leave !we will be more than happy to preach to each other!!!! Love to all God's people, Love to all who hate us! Love to the world.

He says that Biblical text should not be interpreted literally if it contradicts what we know from science and our God-given reason. St. Augustine says that if you do take the Bible literally that a non-Christian would scarcely be able to keep from laughing.

If one of your own saints thinks that literal interpretation of the Bible is silly, why would there be any surprise when others laugh?

What if all the people you want to spend your time with are alive ? what is the incentive about being in heaven with my dead granny whom i only have vague memories of

If Heaven exists does that mean it contains all the peoples souls who have ever died ? including cave men ? or is it only people who have declared a beleif in god ?

if so ... does that mean all the poeple who died before the birth of Jesus were not invited into heaven ?

What excactly do you do in heaven ? is there TV ? do they have horse racing ? do they have Boddingtons Beer ? because thats how what my Grandad used to enjoy about earth ,...

I hate to waste my precious points by asking a question, but, how come no one uses the spell check feature? It is so distracting when someone is trying to make a legitimate point and everything is spelled incorrectly. Tomorrow, I think we should have International Spell Check Feature Day, what do you think?

how can 1 be expected to embrace religion when as far as i can see its all about giving up things that i like! ive come this far without any divine intervention, relatively unscathed and moderately happy.religion is a money making swizz.you should wake up to that fact, before you have missed the life(boat)completely.and become bitterly dissapointed that this so called "god" does not and never has existed,i say that with the same amount of conviction as u would telling me why he does exist.

Keep in mind that anything that is "all-powerful" doesn't *need* anything.

Ok, then ask yourself this...

If we *didn't* exist, why should god?

Because even Lord Jesus don't want to save those intentional sinners.
Christians are sinners too--but they commit non-intentional or good sin and they repent and Christ pays for them. But those Heathens and Infidels commit evil or intentional sins and nobody paid for them-because they don't accept the payment--again intentionally.

And when he [Jesus] was alone, those present along with the Twelve questioned him about the parables. He answered them, "The mystery of the kingdom of God has been granted to you. But to those outside everything comes in parables, so that 'they may look and see but not perceive, and hear and listen but not understand, in order that they may not be converted and be forgiven.'" (Mark 4:10-12 NAB)
that's why we should not bound together with the Heathens and Infidels, we only deliver the good news. the heathens and infidels are filled with horrible demons while the Christian soldiers are filled with the Holy spirit!!

Amen.

3) Are there people in Heaven or Hell now or is everyone still waiting for Judgment Day?

For those people who may not understand what I am saying because of how I said it, do you realize that religion is an establishment of Man, and nothing else? That the church and GOD are two separate entities that have almost nothing to do with one another at any given point in time? If you haven't figured it out, or just disagree, as always I welcome your response, however I ask that you have some kind of intelligent backing for your thoughts on the matter instead of just a few angry words and a barrage of flagrant arrogant insults... If ya want to throw those in after or before you decide to back up your opinion you are welcome to do so, I have no reason to report anyone and if you do get reported it won't be by me... I'm just asking you to act intelligently whether you agree or not! Thanx! Peace and GOD bless!

1.)Homosexuality is not natural, much like eyeglasses, polyester, and birth control.

2.)Heterosexual marriages are valid because they produce children. Infertile couples and old people can’t legally get married because the world needs more children.

3.)Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

4.)Straight marriage will be less meaningful, since Britney Spears’ 55-hour just-for-fun marriage was meaningful.

5.)Heterosexual marriage has been around a long time and hasn’t changed at all; women are property, blacks can’t marry whites, and divorce is illegal.

6.)Gay marriage should be decided by people not the courts, because the majority-elected legislatures, not courts, have historically protected the rights of the minorities.

7.)Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That’s why we have only one religion in America.

Don't you think that our time is now. I am so sick of waiting, I hate going to school, I am scared to go back to work, I hate driving. I just get so nervous.

College puts pressure and stress on me, My parents put pressure and stress on me I am ready to leave this world and never look back. I am sick of living in a world knowing I can die at anytime.

Have you ever felt that way?

What is the point of being alive?

Time Magazine, November 13, 2006 issue -

He is a brilliant man who is a former atheist. He is the Director of the National Human Genome Research Institute.

Dr. Collins says that interpretation of Genesis 1 and 2 in a literal way is not consistent with our knowledge of the universe’s age or of how living organisms are related to one another. He talks about St. Augustine, who warned explicitly against having a literal view of Genesis, to avoid making the Christian faith look ridiculous.

Dr. Collins is a Christian and a well-respected scientist. Will you continue to take the Bible literally, given this information?
