I got this from my pastor. When someone dies, or when Jesus returns (lets say that is gonna happen. Who knows) Either way, if you die or he returns it is those that beleive in GOD that are going to be among the saved. It is no any particular Sect that is going to be saved and the rest have to go to hell. No it does not work like that. God is there for us all as long as we believe. Every sort of Christian, every sect of the Jewish religion will be saved. Sure if Christ returns the Jews got it wrong. But you know, all that Jesus did, it really is a little hard for men of that age to beleive. Imagine if he did come back today, can you imagine all the doubters then. "Oh that guy aint Jesus" and the Jews, the ultimate in doubting Thomas' they are not going to beleive either. But when all those that beleive in God, and by that I mean a supreme creator, they will live in heaven if they lived a good life. There are some tribes in South America that might never have found Jesus, they too could be saved. So fear not, as long as you beleive in the supreme creator in some way, you are safe

The only way you will be ready when Jesus calls all His children home is if you have accepted Him as your Personal Saviour. All you have to do is believe that He died for your sins, ask Him to come into your heart and that's it. You can do any kind of works, be good, join the Church, or anything else to get to Heaven but to accept Jesus into your heart by faith. John 3:16, Romans 10:9,13, Romans 3:23; 5:8; 6:23. If you haven't done this already I hope you do it before it is to late, you never know what the next second brings. After you accept Christ as your Saviour then get in a good Bible believing Church so you can grow as a Christian. Would you please let me know if you have already or do accept Jesus as your Saviour. I will keep you in my prayers.

You shall be ready if there is strong evidence that you are watching for his comming, as we are commanded to do.

It is very interesting that "as in the days of Noah so shall it be in the days of the comming of the son of man."
Because Noah was told 7 days early that the Lord would destroy the earth in 7 days. When Jesus talked about not "knowing" the day or hour he was talking about not experiencing Judgement day; as the Bible makes clear that the day will come as a thief in the night and then in the same context (I believe in either 1 or 2 Thesalonians) it goes on to say but you are not in darkness that that day should overtake you, you are of the light...

Believers know now that we are near the end of the 2300 days of the book of Daniel the prophet, as near as I am able to tell, with some degree of assurance.

Also to your question, the Bible says that in these last days the wicked shall do wickedly but the wise shall understand. The wise are all of the believers, and we understand the transition that is going to take place. The believers are going to be ready, just as Noah was ready. If you are not wise then you will not be watching, and you will not be ready.

Jesus says act like every day you believe I am coming. Be ready I will come when you least expect it. If you are worried you will not be ready then you probably are not. I'm not judging.(got to be careful, I'll be attacked) When you truly are born again you have no question, you will wait for your Lord to come get you! He will give you all the answers. Please ask him into your heart, join the rest of his followers in certainity of the future. Recognize he died for YOU!
He will come on the clouds you will know for sure it is him we will all see him.
He is waiting for you to dedicate your self to him! Do it today, nobody knows when he will arrive. Tomorrow might be to late.

To be ready, you need to admit or confess your sins, repent to God, and accept the gift that Jesus Christ has died on the cross for you and is your savior. Then you will be born again and you will know you are ready.

Cookies, and milk. Oh wait, I'm thinking of another mythical figure, Santa Claus.
How about hiding eggs? Wait, that's not right. That's the Easter Bunny...
Let's see...wait! I remember! Christ is the one where you have to pray all the time, be forgiven of your sins, and believe in the Bibe.
That's right! Now I've got it!

The way to be ready for Jesus when he comes back is to live each day like this is the day he's coming for us. Someday will be our last and there won't be anymore.

1) Take singing lessons. That way you'll be well prepared to harmonize with the other billions of angels singing him tales of his awesomeness for the rest of eternity.

2) Buy knee pads, the kind you use for gardening. There's nothing worse than bruised knees from having to kneel and bow before God so that he may confirm your devotion, and his awesomeness.

3) Die. That's kind of the pre-requisite for any "Let's Meet God!" ventures these days.

Hope this helped. Good luck! I have a feeling you'll be waiting a while.
