How? Hitler was a Darwinist, and he killed six million Jews and millions of others, including Slavs, homosexuals, gypsies, Christians, communists, the list goes on and on . . .
And Stalin? He was loving, wasn't he? He killed 22 million of his own people, thinking that they were just intelligent animals and that there was no God to fear.
Pol Pot? He was a swell guy too, wasn't he. And Mao? Who wouldn't want to be under his wonderful rule? What about Cuba? Poor as dirt. I'm sorry, but man not having a purpose does not give us much hope or much respect for ourselves and others.
Atheist societies have been the most terrible in history with regard to human treatment, and yet people think that Darwinism, an unproven theory, has caused us to be more enlightened when we've really slipped into barbarity.

If you believe the bible, why? It's a book with chapters missing & added! there are other holy books too, each one claiminf to know God better then the next. Do you ever enev consider the validity of the bible?

We've been murdered at the hands of mainly Mulsims, the false, un-Christian Catholic Church, and Evolutionists (like Stalin) and yet the world hates us. Why does the world hate us? I have been working on my psychic healing capability. I am finding there are alot of people out there ready to take advantage of those that think they are psychic, selling them useless trinkets sometimes for hundreds of dollars. But I am still working on progressing my healing. I notice that the most difficult to cure are those things that I have personally. I think they are resistant to my own touch because if they were not, well they would already be healed. I have found also that my hands heat up now when I concentrate on healing someone. Without even touching someone they get heated up a heat I can feel, but not uncomfortable, I am not sure what that means save that I heard other healers have the same thing.

So what I am looking for is someone in the know that can tell me how to heal the remaining things wrong with myself so I can concentrate on healing others. Secondly, any comments about the heating would be nice

To put it simplistically, there are two types of Christians:
Those who believe that fetuses, infants, toddlers, and really young children go to Heaven upon dying, as they have not had the opportunity to be saved and God is gracious enough allow them entry to Heaven.
Those who believe those listed above go to Hell upon dying, as they are not saved and anyone who is not saved through God spends eternity in Hell.

This question is not for those in the latter camp. With that belief, I can see why those people oppose abortion.

But why oppose abortion if you believe that the fetus will go to Heaven? Better that the child die with a guarantee of Heaven than the child die after having a chance of rejecting God. So, if you believe in God granting them entry to Heaven, then abortion would actually be a good thing.

While I know that murder is a sin, it would be a blessing to send the fetuses to Heaven. Isn't the abortion doctor's soul worth it for all the souls he sends to Heaven?

No I'm not joking. There's a guy my DH knows who says his pastor showed him in the Bible it says a woman/wife should only walk on a certian side. I have never heard of this and I'm very curious to see for myself. So if anyone has heard of this or has a really good Bible reference and can find it, please let me know.

So the Bible said that Lucifer was thrown out of heaven along with one third of the angels. If this was in fact the case, Lucifer must have been offering something that God could not provide. Think about it. If one third of heaven's population followed him, he must have had some rational ideas or plans. Now project that to earth here. Could it not be possible that Satan offers a real alternative to the worship of God? Before you reply with a "canned" answer or knee-jerk reaction give this concept a thought.

I wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat
our Cell phones?

What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?

What if we turned back to go get it if we for got it?

What if we flipped through it several times a day?

What if we used it to receive messages from the text?

What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?

What if we gave it to kids as gifts?

Wow! This is really something to think about.

What if we used it as we traveled?

What if we used it in case of an emergency?

What if we upgraded it to get the latest version?

At the Pearly Gates, they are met by St. Peter.
He says, "Sisters, you all led such exemplary lives that the Lord is granting you six months to go back to earth and be anyone you wish to be.

The first nun says, "I want to be Sophia Loren;" and *poof* she's gone.

I mean, have you HEARD how many Republican concession speaches bring up God and the Bible? What does God and the Bible have ANYTHING to do with you loosing your seat in Congress and the House?
I am SOOOOOO glad that #1 I am NOT religious and #2 I am not a Republican. To spend your life all wrapped up in that religious nonsense and thumping that bible all the time must be a sad life.

Morality is defined as 'the judgment of right and wrong behaviour according to conscience". The Bible says a great deal about following orders from 'God' but doesn't mention much about employing your conscience to determine right from wrong. So, as far as I can tell, there is very little about morality in the Bible... unless you know different?

Shiites believed that at Ghadir Qumm he designated Ali ibn Abi Talib (wasn't that his cousin?) The Khalifa Rasul Allah: The Successor to the Apostle of God. The Rashidun: The rightly guided caliphs Abu Bakr, Ummar, Uthman, and Ali. I know that caliphs were to be nominated by the elders of the community and confirmed by bay'a (the community at large).

Please clear this stuff up...I'm very confused...I know it was chaotic. Thanks (btw, my connection sucks...I've been trying to google stuff but it won't go through).

You don't have to hide anything anymore. You can just go on yahoo and spout bull all day long. The racist media have suceeded in brainwashing all the stupid folk.Yes many Muslims do many bad things, they have given themselves a bad name, yet people who don't know anything about Islam the religion, think they can go on Yahoo Answers and talk about mosques and the Quran, you know about individual Muslims but what do you know about the everyday Muslims who get on with their lives who are just trying to live their life according to the Quran (which has nothing to do with burning cars and blowing up trains).

Its alright to talk about your opinions and obviously you can say negative things about lets say the people who do bad things (such as those ugly men who will rot in hell for burning that 15 yeard old boy na people who blow up trains for no reason).They are bitter people who are looking for excuses to do bad things. You must not believe them when they try to use Islam as an excuse.
