I don't get it. Sex is private and personal,and nobodies business except for the two to five people having it together. If i want to have orgies with a trio of trained circus acrobats and a midget named juan, what does that have to do with my soul?

Sex is a form of love. Not a physical or pornographical love. It is more intimate. It is to be shared between one man and one woman. It is a moment of sharing each other in a truly spiritual way. God is not pleased with sexual immorality (having orgies or multiple partners). It is an abomination and will be dealt with as such by God. Sexuality is just one aspect of life that religion (I assume you mean Christianity) tries to address. If you want sex outside of marriage, orgies, or midget sex then that's a sign of something wrong INSIDE of you.
If you wake up one day and you're coughing and sneezing, then that's a sign of something wrong inside of you. You don't get new clothes to "fix" that cold just like you don't get a haircut to "fix" the cold either. You go to a doctor for a cure that will work INSIDE of you.
Just like the medicine, when Jesus is in your life, He will work INSIDE of you so that you won't want sex outside of marriage, orgies, or even midget sex. You'll want to do all of the things that please HIM - then you won't have to worry about your soul. He'll have it close to Him forever.
Isn't that better than worrying about what you can or cannot do in a religion?
