. . .more than 200 million bible believing Christians have been martyred throughout world history? 45 million in the twentieth century alone? We've been murdered at the hands of mainly Mulsims, the false, un-Christian Catholic Church, and Evolutionists (like Stalin) and yet the world hates us. Why does the world hate us? We're not the enemy. The the death toll goes up all over the world in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Come on --- I know many of you have some hateful answers. Either which way, I love you and forgive you.

"Why does the world hate us ?"

Christ said :
If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own, but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.........
He that hateth me hateth my Father also (John 16).

I have given them thy word and the world hath hated them because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world (John 17).

John tells us :
.....Not as Cain who was of that wicked one and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil and his brother's righteous.
Marvel not brethren if the world hate you (1 John 3).

Remember :
They that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Because the carnel mind is enmity against God for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
So then those that are in the flesh cannot please God (Romans 8).

Notice it says "is enmity against God." That is the severest form of hate and is implacable.

Man absolutely hates God.

Ordinary, natural man, absolutely hates God.

Not, ' religion makes wars,' and all that foolish emptiness. No, it is man, every single one, that is full of hatred.

That is what God says. Man rejects it. But it can be so obviously and easily seen to be true, wherever you look.

Especially if you look in your own heart.

Only the power and grace of God can change that.

Did you know that, 200 million over 2000 years is only 100,000 deaths per year?? And, where did you get your statistics? Some fundie website? Also, Im curious how many of those 200 million were actually killed by other Christians - seeing as you people were responsible for the Inquisition, Crusades, witch hunts, Knights Templar massacre and Franciscan Monk massacres... So how many of these dead were killed by your own faith???

Between 1941 and 1945 (thats four years) a Christian by the name of HITLER killed 6 million Jews.

Why do Christians hate Jews so much?

Would you like to compare figures with the non Christians put to the sword by Christians? You are only giving half the argument.
below is a link if you would like an idea.

I do wish fundamentalist Christians would get off the "we are the victims" mentality. There are ENOUGH victims to go around for everybody, so lets drop it and try to move on to a better place.

I am all too willing to not bother anyone else of a different spiritual path who doesn't bother me and mine, how about you?

Who is we? I am hoping that you are one in the truth and one that practices pure worship in harmony with Christs adminishments. Genuine Christians have been murdered because they took a stand on the side of God. Christ did tell us that he who looses his life (in the course of righteousness) will gain it (as a ressurected one who will either inherit the earth, or if one of the annointed, will have a share in Christ's Kingdom). Christians who are persecuted on account of Christ or on account of rigteousness are glad when men persecute them, for thiers is the kingdom of God. Christ forewarned all faithful disciples to be aware that they will be persecuted, thrown into jail, murdered and all sort of injurious things done to them by Satan or Satan;s agents or by spirit creatures who follow Satan--aka demons). John the baptizer, Peter, Paul and many other faithful early christians suffered the same fate.

For now, "draw close to God and He will draw close to you----James 4:8

Why focus on the negative's! what has Christianity done for the world lot's but then so have many other religions and it is not just christans that are persecuted.

If a small group of people believe one thing and a larger group of people disagree with them then they are going to try and change their minds.

With faiths it generally turns to persecution because faiths are so personal that people don't want to change their minds so the larger group tries to bash their heads in.

Sometimes smaller groups strike back with the only weapon they have, fear, and hence terrorism is born.

Persecution is bad, whoever does the persecuting. Now, will you immoral Christians stop persecuting your homosexual brothers and sisters? Why hate them? They're not the enemy. Just because somebody committed his unjust prejudice against gays to parchment a long time ago is not a good reason to continue to persecute them in the 21st century.

Jesus said for us to take his yoke and walk with him....and go to others with him side by side..and teach them about Our Heavenly Father and yet then he told us..they hated me ..they will hate you also...satan is the ruler of this world now..he has taken 1/3 of the angels and turned them away from God...they follow him knowing full well they will be destroyed. And now he has turned his attention to the earth to wipe out all christians.
Stand firm while you keep an eye on yourselves because the devil has been cast out of heaven and he is seeking to devour us all.

What about the non Bible believing Christians?

This is such a f***ing lie. Christians are just dying to get a piece of the Holocaust action they envy the Jews for so much. How they'd love to be actually as persecuted as them. But they aren't. In world history, who is mostly responsible for colonizing other nations and wiping out their populations, pulling people from their homes and committing them to slavery, engaging in Inquisitions, witch burning, the Crusades, and the drive to make everyone in the world the image of them? Oh, and the Holocaust?

I have quite a few Christian friends. But then there are those like this questioner who make it hard for me to hold down my food. Dove? More like f***ing devil.
