"Who cares? Our lives are better than yours.
Have you not seen a person be healed? It happens all the time, people's legs that were cut off grow back!!! Can science explain that?"- Carpe_Burrito

I wonder, what exactly keeps people like this out of the mental hospital? This answer was recent, just a few questions ago, in reply to a "religion is a misery" question.

In a country where the president admits that he hears his god's voice, and is not immediately removed from office, what do you expect?

These words are from a person who doesn't care about what ? Then to say their lives are better. Yes, this letter shows signs of mental stress , about four different subjects. Bi-polar. Lots of trouble on this person's mind. So sad.

so, does that person really believe that people's legs that were cut off grow back!!!!! O my God,
He must have some phobia in which he must be thinking of himself as a tree... we may call it...agggggg a plantphobia or treephobia etc...
a request to the relatives and friends of that person...
please have him treated by some expert psychiatrist...if he is beyond treatment...get him admitted into a mental hospital....
thanx..

Despite being someone who believes in miracles, I would also be questioning a response like that. These are only the rumored words of someone on Yahoo!, so at least that gives me relief. I have seen miracles, so, to each his own.

If God went around granting miracles left and right then people wouldn't need faith now would they? God doesn't do miracles on request for that reason plus the fact that he wants us to realize this life is temporal and trivial compared with eternal life.

These last few hours would've been called
' The Age of Lies ' had history been allowed to continue and catalog. I'm so glad we don't have to.

As to answer your question yes, a sane person wrote that. You just have to understand what they are saying.
