religion and establishments past and present ,have tried every trick in the book to upset the apple cart one way or another ,to make us question ourselves or judge who should and shouldnt have a free will.ie certain measures are in place to punish people, but why do they wrong against others if they have free will and should be content.are they denied their free will by others.my life in london is getting increasingly claustrophobic and limited by people in "charge" making outragous rules ,i feel i have lived a life that has been clean and upright (im no saint)but have to toe the line just the same as folk who constantly done bad all their life WHY?i do not like or need to be taught how to do the right thing i know from good upright parenting as a child what i should and should not do,and in a way police my self.just the same as others that feel the same way as i do.

I think you are confusing Free Will with your spirit of rebellion. You are like most young people today. You don't want to live by any rules. That is the original sin of Adam and Eve. Basically the serpant was saying to them..."who is God to tell you what tree you can or cannot eat from!" So they chose what they wanted and we can all see the results of it.
My daughter does not understand WHY I will not let her do what ever she wants.....she feels perfectly capable at 4 to use a knife...she has never been cut and is clueless to the pain of it...I as her parent know better, so I teach her to be carefull, and forbid her to use a knife. Enter her free will, she chooses to find out for herself and gets hurt.
It is the same with us. We don't want the rules and can't see the love of our Father God who only wants to spare us the pain of death.
I know that some rules may seem rediculous to you. Like, I hate having to go a speed limit. I am a careful driver who has never had a ticket...why should I be held back? right? That doesn't mean that those rules were not established for a reason and, like it or not, it is my responsability to obey the law.
All of Gods' commandments were established for our good and not to harm us. It was an act of love. We still have our free will to choose what we want, because if not, we would be robots, programmed to do what we were told. God wants us to choose what is right on our own, returning to Him the love He has for us.

God is Good! And God is Love!

If we take an honest look at Christianity, there truly is no free will. Believe in me or go to hell; this is not free will, free would imply that there are no consequences to your actions. If what Christian's believe is true, then only a fool or a crazy person would go against God, that is not free will. It appears to be just another form of religious propaganda and double talk, meant to confuse people to the actual topic at hand.

God gave us the will to choose, and god will punish all of us for bad deeds unless he forgives us.
The only reason you have a problem with that is probably because you think god decided what you will do....you should think about it the right way, which is that god knew what we would do before he created any of us, and he gave us the will to, he didn't simply decide to punish us because he decided you or me would do a bad deed!

God gave us free will and that really means to know what is right and what is wrong. We will get saved only by the grace and mercy of God when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. And when we accept Himas our Lord and Savior, we want to live like He wants us to live. We all fall short from the glory of God but He died for our sins...for all of them. I am thankful that it is not about me.

I had a little problem following you question but sounds like you
resent others telling you how to live your life, and you would be right. Some religions are mixed up with the term share your
knowledge with force it upon them with all tactics.

Sorry, but I do not believe in god....I believe that I, and only I know the difference between right and wrong, good and bad.
I do not believe in rules that are set by an organized religion, I will not be told what to do, or how to run my life by nobody whatsoever.

We all sin, we're born into sin because of Adam and Eve. And none is righteous enough to enter the kingdom of God without the atonement of sin which is believing in Christ.

God gave us free will, just like the government gives us freedom of speech. Both of these do not mean that we will not be held accountable for our actions on behalf of whichever judge.

Everybody wants to rule, everyone wants to tell others what to do.
They can convince people that God talks to them only and if you listen to them they can tell you how to live your life.
The world is a bunch of control freaks.
If they tell you it is ok to kill. Because I said so! Doesn't make it ok. Stealing, lieing and cheating is ok because I said so, doesn't make it ok.

No God did not give us a free will. Amazing how many people think that He did but I have never seen one of them produce a scripture verse to prove it. They just document it with. "God doesn't want a bunch of robots to worship Him".
