It is about enlightenment. satori is about the transient state of awareness. Nirvana is about the eternal state of awareness and the peace and contentment usually conceived as part of it. Not about heaven as some people have mistranslated it to.

nirvana is the concept of Buddhism.
lord Buddha advocated nirvana as moksha by renunciation of desires.
