Yes. It is supposed to be where you can wish for anything, do anything, create your own house, basically circumvent reality just for you.

Heaven in Islam, is something that no eyes have seen, something you can't imagine. so if they tell you that people will live close to God on earth, they are wrong.
But in heaven what ever you wish you will find it there, sometimes things look look like earthly fruits but taste different, even the fruits of the same tree. sometimes it taste like you were imagining it >> meaning if you take an orange now, you imagine that it is sweet, waterry.... but when you taste it it's different.
in heaven all things are perfect.
But the important thing before talking about heaven, are you worshiping the one and true God the way he wants you to do so?
because He will not forgive the biggest sin = to worship others beside God.think about it. If you don't accept him and him only, you will loose and be not accepted and thrown in the hell fire for eternity.
this is my advice for you:
to start :find out in the bible from the lips of jesus peace be upon him < only> that he is just a man, son of man, a prophet that tell you : my God and Your God. trust him and not the others who tell you just have blind faith, just believe.
O israel, God is one.
ask God the creator of everything to guide you.
ask muslim about their believe, forget about what is happening in the news and read about what your god want from you really.
may God guide us all.

Hi Sean T. When we look at what the Bible teaches about life in Heaven, we know first of all, we have been given Eternal Life. Outside of existing for all eternity, we do not know what the mechanics of Eternal Life is. Here on earth, we are conditioned to eat food and drink water to sustain these bodies of ours. But along with this, we also need oxygen to survive. Just because we "know" that we need these conditions to survive here, this does not mean that the same conditions will exist in Heaven.
If we have been given Eternal Life, why would we need to eat or drink? None of us know what Eternal Life will be like. What we do know is what we will be doing there, worshiping our God and doing His will. That will be glorious.

I'd hardly call it heaven if it didn't contain what I think would be vital to MY eternal happiness. Otherwise it'd just be a holding tank for a bunch of similar-minded dead people.
Which is probably why I'm no longer Christian.

No, it is where God is.
Heaven is a prepared place:
John 14:1-6
"Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. [2] "In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. [3] "If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also. [4] "And you know the way where I am going." [5] Thomas said to Him, "Lord, we do not know where You are going, how do we know the way?" [6] Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

Since heaven is a human concept, as far as we know, then yes, it can be anything you want...but only in THIS life...until somebody comes back to tell us otherwise, WITH PROOF!

Heaven is where the Living God lives. Jesus is God so if you hate Jesus then you wouldn't want to go there for eternity.
