You know the eucharist.....the bread and the body of christ. What a load of BS!!! I can not help but picture the priest ordering bulk cases of those friggin wafers out of some catalogue and heading down to the local liquer store to buy the "blood."

Does anyone else piss thier pants laughing when they picture this?

In the past, present and future who can argue that religion saves more then it kills?

What would be acceptable evidence? The Cambian explosion implies design but does not confirm it. Michael Behe's irriducibly complex systems question evolution but will never offer a scientific "mechanical" method of design.

How could we possibly scientifically observe or empirically imply the act of creation?

All we can ever do is look to the impossibilities of life occuring without guidance or design.

What do you think we'll just run accross God's engineering drawings and construction plan? How could we possibly understand God's method of creation when it's outside the boundaries and possibilities of that which was created?

Why did Joseph Smith after receiving s message from God not do as God asked, but instead he went back to looking for treasures with his father? Dr. D. Michael Quinn notes this fact in a book called Early Mornmonism and the Magic World View. That Dr. Quinn was a former Mormon Historian. Even his own mother wrote that he did these things and she stated that her son said he possessed powers in helping him in these searches.
So for three years after Joseph Smith got the heavenly vision he kept up his treasure seeking with peep stones. He ignored God for 3 years. Don't sound much like a prophet to me. I state all this to see what you mormons say as to what is fact. I am not here to run you down, but run down a man who claims to be a prophet. of God.

I heard that electrical storms in the temporal lobes causes microseizures (people who are epileptic do this on their own) and it can give the person a sense of the spiritual world. The interesting thing is that the person can just imagine something up and a decieving spirit (brain waves) will cause you to think you're seeing it. So it's all in your head when you see aliens and ghosts, right? What about when there are witnesses though? Can these figments of our imagination manifest outside of our heads? Maybe demons do exist and they turn into any figment of our imagination?

Let's say that there is only one way to get into heaven: by believing in God. Let's also say that you have proof that this god exists and is the true God. However, this god is vengeful, prejudiced and judgemental, basically not someone you would want to associate with if it were the guy who lived two houses down. Would you convert to the religion that supports this God? If you do, you're saved. If you don't, well you're at his mercy, and based on what you know about him, that's not the best thing to be.

Id like to share one of my dreams :)

What pop up in your mind if I say ***I talk to Jesus in my dream?***

1 year ago it was first time when I saw him in my dream (he was not alive back then) I SAW HIM ON CRUCIFIX ON THE ROOF OF ONE HOUSE IN MY HOME TOWN (that time I lived in abroad)

Now Im back in my country. This dream where I talked to him appeared in very morning couple of days ago so I remember all the details. Firstly, I was in forest.. Don’t know how I got there.. The story is not necessary but in that forest I suddenly saw a few people on crucifix and there were blood all over their bodies

Immediately then I relocated into my grandmums house (where I was born) and there I met HIM. He was talking straight to me we were standing in a hall and he was a bit of pushing me about something I havent done right or didn’t finish - I didn’t want to argue so I left him there and went to another bedroom. And then I woke up

Any ideas?

Can someone please explain to me how an a question that I asked stating today is halloween I think I will go as an atheist are you gonna sent me hate mail. How this is considered chatting and was deleted?
Now I said this because I have seen many people leave because they were getting hate mail for theyre religious beliefs.
My question was deleted for chatting how is that chatting? Of course somebody replied very hatefully toward me burn in hell daughter of satan, in which I just ignored, and did not report.

i'm not trying to start any fights but that seems like such an oxymoron, it bothers me. christianity is against witchcraft but it suddenly becomes ok when you attach the name god to it? i realize that not all of them do spells and such, but it's as though the whole concept undermines their own religion and nullifies ours. not to mention the persecution any pagan beliefs suffered a long time ago. forgive me if i can't wrap my head around it. someone explain it to me?

So we either believe the science. (Most people arent that educated to actually know that the scientists are correct; if they are, they can only prove that the science is not false) or believe the Saints (no one can prove that the Saints are really experiencing God)
Kinda interesting. So, no one has proof, only faith. Right? (that's the question)

Ok, here goes...my hubby looks at porn on our PC. I have caught him. The question is...in my heart, I consider it adultry because in the bible it clearly states that if you look upon a woman in lust...you have commited adultry in your heart. Well, then biblically...that is reason for divorce? Because, I want a divorce from my hubby and I want to do this biblically so that I will not be out of the will of God. This is not the only problems...He has physically abused me before, verbal abuse, cheated and could care less to spend any time with me or the children. He has stopped most of this stuff but still will not spend time with me. He has begged me to start over but after 4 years...I have nothing left to give. Please help!!!
