R u crazy? God loves you and watches over you but its the choices you make in your life that determine your end. God doesn't say be stupid and i will save you. Thats basically attempting to commit suicide, and if you believe then your commiting a great sin. You don't have to test if he is watching, your not suppose to test GOD at all, GOD test you. The answer to the question is no i would not feel comfortable, Because thats just dumb, and GOD could watch me do alot. Like walk n front of a gang shoot out, getting n front of a flying bullet and screaming GOD will save......funny.

I am fairly certain that if I let go of the wheel and closed my eyes the next time I was driving, I would crash and if I was travelling fast enough, I would die.
Being in Christ, God would watch over me and I would be saved from the eternal torment of Hell and welcomed into Heaven.

Satan told Jesus to jump off a building to see if god would save him. and in reply Jesus said that you are not to test god, first of all If you do have faith that he is with you then there's no need to test him. And second of all yes he may be with you but miracles are no longer performed he can give you holy spirit to help keep you safe but as long as you are doing his will and acting in harmony with your prayers and trying your hardest not to do something stupid like endangering your life God told us to respect the life he has given us, and driving with no hands and eye is not only disrespecting our precious life but also the lives of others. Good Enough?

No, I wouldn't.
The Bible specifically warns against testing God's patience. You can read about that in the gospels where Christ is tempted by Satan. Further, we cannot fully discern God's will for us. We know what is revealed to us, by and by.
But on a more practical level, where do you get the idea that irresponsibility is in any way a proper way to contemplate your relationship with God? What of the people around you who could be hurt by such an act? Passengers in your vehicle? Other vehicles? Other people's property such as landscaping, signs, parking lots, or whatever happens to be nearby? What of the 911 responders (police, ambulance, fire) who might have to respond to the scene of your accident, thereby keeping them from being available to respond to someone else? What of animals near the road? What of the financial resources of your insurance company, and the time of the employees of that company who may have to work claims to settle for the damage you cause? (Don't care about the insurance company - well, the other policy holders care about the rise in premium associated with needless endagerment.) What of your survivors who care about you and will be hurt by the loss of you?
God created us in His image. That means, among other things, that we have a mind to think with. Think about it.

God does love and watch over those who put their trust in Him. Do not test God and His power! He chooses not to control our stupidity, but He does show deserving wrath to those who try to come up against Him. Read the book of Job in the Old Testament.

I have fallen asleep several times while driving, gone more then 100 miles at a time and never had an accident. I know for a fact that God was driving my truck.

That would be testing God and it is not our place to do that. I do believe in divine intervention. Falling asleep at the wheel, and somehow you are saved from any serious incident, making it home safely.

No...it is written...."Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God" Jesus didn't do as Satan requested, why should I. The Lord gave us knowledge and wisdom for a reason, we are supposed to use it. But, if you are in trouble you can call upon the Name of the Lord thy God and He will deliver you.
