Can someone please explain to me how an a question that I asked stating today is halloween I think I will go as an atheist are you gonna sent me hate mail. How this is considered chatting and was deleted?
Now I said this because I have seen many people leave because they were getting hate mail for theyre religious beliefs.
My question was deleted for chatting how is that chatting? Of course somebody replied very hatefully toward me burn in hell daughter of satan, in which I just ignored, and did not report.
SO who decides what is chatting? I have seen many questions on this forum that was chatting, but did not get removed. If you ask me it's bull. Religous politics in Cyber Space who would have guessed. Come on everyone has a right to an opinion wouldnt you agree

Add your complaint to Procunio's thread in the forum.

Then stop by the Y!A 360 and lodge a complaint there too.

Procunio's thread was posted in this forum, and I took it to the Y!A forum last night so that there would be a permanent record of our complaints on file. As I thought would happen, it was deleted here in R+S.

I believe we had well over 100 complaints at last count. It's bound to be noticed.

Good Luck.

(I've had 5 violations today....and I deserved every single one of them for once.)

Freedom of speech is a government freedom and does not pertain to groups of forums like this. The owners and moderators can delete any question or answer for any reason.

I did not say it was fair. I noticed any question that goes against someone's beleif is reported.

Someone asked a question about what the bible said and I just told them and my answer got deleted and I got a violation for epithets and slurs when i just said what the bible says.

I am not a Chriastian anymore, but I do know the bible because I studied it and preached it for 30 yers, so I answer a lot of bible questions and some people get upset of what the bible says and reports me.

WOW!, never heard it put so blunt. But, worry not. I am not christian, nor athiest. Or anything. I am leaning toward paganism in one form or another. I am studying them. As I have done with all forms of religion.

You, just have to understand with the faith of GOD comes the be-littling of all those that do not walk their faith. Another is you have to realize is the stupidity of some people and classing Halloween as evil goes back when chrisitianity was trying to convert more pagans. The religious zelots fell to see the small part that says basically says Thy shall not judge thy nieghbor. Taking in the context of the word. that is 2 families one on each side of their house. Taking in what is means. It is all people you meet and greet.

Problem is the relgious zelots can hide behind their computer screen and run off to church on sunday or satuday and be saved. All while doing as the romans done. Judging someone based on beliefs not their own.

I am sorry you had to recieve email in that manner. The zealots have the power. No matter how false it is.

Thanks

Yahoo has their guidelines to follow. When someone is reported, they look at the question/answer and its contents. They determine if it's in accord to their guidelines. Asking a one sentence question and then writting several sentences of 'crap' can be considered chatting. But if you ask a one sentence question and your next sentences are to further see to that question, that's not chatting. You'd actually have to ask Yahoo about this. Maybe you have been reported a few other times for chatting and after 3 strikes, you're out. Yahoo looks at all your answers/questions to base their decision on whether to delete it or not. They don't just look at that one question.

I agree with you. I have recently set up a new account, just in case I get suspended my mail on the Yahoo account I actually use won't get deleted. I've been reported and questions deleted several times since Yahoo's new bot was released. I think this is how it goes, someone gets offended and reports you. The new bot recieves the report and deletes the question.

I go the a violation for not having a question on a question that clearly had a question. If some people do not like the question they get it deleted.

I'm at the point, I don't know what they want. I'll get in trouble for this , just watch. I't ready. No one is allowed a opinion anymore.

yes as we have discussed many times each individual has the free will and right to believe or not to believe as they see fit as long as the laws rules and mores of the society are not broken where one resides. glad to see that this set back has not stopped you as you do pose interesting questions and I enjoy them. continued good luck to you and yours.

I agree, all of us have the right to an opinion, but we also have a responsiblity to share our opinion with tact and self control.
