"Christianity, if false, is of no importance, and if true, of infinite importance. The only thing it cannot be is moderately important."

For instance, if they put forth a motion to outlaw Christianity in America, I being an Atheist would vote against this as I think it is a violation of your rights. Do you have the ability to let others live as they will, or do you seek to enforce your views on them?

NOWHERE in the bible does it say what religion God was... God preaches nothing but Faith, Knowledge, Wisdom, Understanding. I would call it Faith or a personal relationship w/him.
People quote scriptures like: Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers, and turn it around and say that they're religion is better than the others,,.not directly in that way.. 1st of all Religion is man-made. Why do we need all these different beliefs to pray to one God? Why can't everyone just come together? God is about unity, & equality, He is universal. He loves us all equally.
There's alot of confusion today in this world b/c of al the separation of churches or mosques, etc. Why can't we put it all together, combine the beliefs and faiths and come out with one true place of worship? After all every faith wether it's christian, muslim, jew, etc worships the one and only Higher power..
I love my God, and he borns me beautiful visions of Knowledge, wisdom, understanding, & equality..

Just curious. I know that murder, abortion, and the like will get you kicked out. But their are some more obscure ones, like joining certain fraternal orders that will get you tossed out just as fast. A list of such sins would be best. Please include sources for your answers.

I'm curious as to why Christ's arrival and crucifixion happened when it did. Why then and not now? Or why not earlier than when it happened?

Have you ever considered the possibility of there being a God or wondered if God exists? Do you ever think "what if I'm wrong"? I'm not trying to convert anybody here, just curious as to how many atheists have searched for God or considered the possibility that God exists.

I am doing a project at school and I need a bible verse that talks about perverts, stalkers and how it's bad to do such a thing. I don't want a verse fore adultery because that's now what I'm doing my project.

For example: in Islam The Quran recommends (it recommends it does not force) that moms breastfeed their babies for at least 2 years. I wondered if there is anything like that in your religion.

Thanks!

this is to say that, as long as it makes people happy than it is "moraly justifiable"

such as to say, there is a rude ritch lady, whom will bestow her money to orphans upon her death. is it justifiable to kill her so that the children shall not suffer any longer?

I ask this because if we believe in the trinity would that not mean it could be applied to not only Jesus, but to man as well.?

Is man not the son of god as Jesus was? And do man not have a spirit could this be the holy spirit of god and mean that we with our earthly flesh are a vessel of gods spirit?
If so does that mean god is within. If so wouldnt that mean we too have no limits if we look within, where god lives? Just wondering?
Is it possible that we can heal, walk on water and be reborn again?

For instance, In America we have freedom of religion. This is something that I would assume the Christian right would change if they could as it is a hinderance to the spread of their religion. We have the right to be judged by a jury of our peers. This also conflicts with Christian doctrine. We are to adhere to a seperation of church and state. This funny enough is in accordance with the teachings of Christ, but it seems that some would have it changed.

So, which holds more importance to you, your religious convictions or secular law?

1 - THE HORSE SERIES
30 DIFFERENT HORSES—In the 1870s, *Othniel C. Marsh claimed to have found 30 different kinds of horse fossils in Wyoming and Nebraska. He reconstructed and arranged these fossils in an evolutionary series, and they were put on display at Yale University. Copies of this "horse series" are to be found in many museums in the United States and overseas. Visually, it looks convincing.
"Horses are among the best-documented examples of evolutionary development."—*World Book Encyclopedia (1982 ed.), p. 333.
"The development of the horse is allegedly one of the most concrete examples of evolution. The changes in size, type of teeth, shape of head, number of toes, etc., are frequently illustrated in books and museums as an undeniable evidence of the evolution of living things."—Harold G. Coffin, Creation: Accident or Design? (1969), p. 193.

Was it not Christ himself who modeled the act of continuously moving amongst the sinners and non believers in order to spread his message? If Christians insulate themselves from non believers how do they spread the message of Christ? How do they help those they beleive need to experience Christ's love?
