I don't think there's supposed to be proof.

As I recall, folks are supposed to take it on faith. Either one has faith or one does not.

One more reason to laugh at those "believers" who try to find ways of proving that their holy scripture is true.

To the truly faithful proof is unnecessary.

Forget everything you know about Islam or world religions, ok? I can prove to you that God exists in one qur'anic verse:

“The Byzantines have been defeated in the lowest part of the earth. They will reverse their defeat with a victory in a few years’ time – God is in command, first and last.” 30:2-5

In the year 615 CE, the Roman army was defeated by the Persians. Regarding this event, God revealed in the Qur’an the verse mentioned above. The words of God proved to be true as the Persians were defeated at the battle of Issus, seven years later in 622 CE. There is no possible way that Muhammad PBUH could have known – if he wrote the Qur’an – that the Romans would be victorious. One could say he just guessed or that the Qur'an was altered after the Persians were defeated - as would be expected from non-Muslims. However, how was he able to know that the ‘lowest land’, at which the battle was fought, was literally that? The battle in 615 CE was fought on the shores of the Dead Sea, the lowest point below sea level on earth at 1,300 feet.

Did he explore the entire earth, or did he have hidden satellites that we do not know of? Could you just please write something to provide me with a way of refuting this unmistakable proof?

Thanks & Peace be with you

You will find no proof that God exists... That is why they call it Faith... Believing in something that you cannot prove or have no control over. People believe in God because they don't have all the answers and they feel that there has to be a beginning, middle and end to this wonderful thing that we call life. Many people don't believe in God. To them I say fine. Just try to live a life where you respect and treat others the same way that you would like to be treated yourself. Remember there are also many out there who try to tell you that theirs is the only True way.
Those people are more interested in power than God... Stay clear of them.... They prey on the uniformed and uneducated. They take your money under the pretense of spreading God's word but in reality they use it to accumulate wealth and political influence

what kind of proof are you looking for? Are you trying to arrive
at God's existence through rational thought?

Ultimately the question, i believe, is unkownable. God could exist
or could not exist. We simply dont know. No its not a cope out!
The term agnostic (which means God's existence is unkownable came from a very famous scientist).

Many people argue indirectly for God's existence. For example,
"look around you at all the things on Earth", hence God exists
because "someone" must have made all this originally.

Or like samuelisa above, aruge circulary with regards to
human "morals". To say that "evil exists" or "justice is needed" already assumes what is is your trying to "prove". Such arguments are circular and become tautologies.

I'm a muslim and I study medicine....There's a book from an Islamic fundamentalist who teaches student in Yemen...he wrote something about Islamic Belief in the perspective of Science... In my country, I did study this Islamic Belief since I was small, and even that I'm not really interested about it (because it is quite abstract...something we just have to believe...and it is not in front of us) but later on when I read this book, I did found few things that make me really amazed.

Let just take few minutes, and see around us. How all the things going on properly and well-managed? Like the creation of the universe, the creation of human (and other livings)... When I study medicine, I found that there are millions of events happening in our body. Even for a small molecule.

So, can we just ignore behind all of this that from the existence of a MANAGER? It is God who manages all these things and all other things in the universe.

May Allah gives you guidance in your life.

I can prove God in two ways, without using Creation and without using the Bible.

1) The existence of evil is proof of God.

We all agree that evil exists – in fact we object to things we call evil (war, poverty, Republicans, liberals, whatever). So, what is evil? Not what are examples of evil (rape, murder, etc…) but what makes something evil? What makes something evil is whether it deviates from some idea of objective good. In other words, there has to be some objective standard of good in order to measure whether something is evil. C. S. Lewis said “how can a man call anything crooked unless he has some idea of a straight line?”. If there is no good, how then can we call anything evil? But there doesn’t seem to be any way to account for an objective standard of good unless there is a God. We ourselves cannot serve as that standard. Even the best of us have lied and stolen at sometime in our lives (deviations from good) so we ourselves cannot be used as a standard for good. So, evil is evidence of good; good is evidence of God; therefore evil is evidence of God.

2) It seems to me that if there is no God then there is also no ultimate justice.

Between the years 1990 and 2000 there were 200,000 murders in the U.S. Approximately 100,000 of those are unsolved (this is from the Census Bureau of 2000). That means that there are potentially 100,000 murderers that have never been brought to justice and most likely may never be. That means that they have committed the perfect crime - they have killed another person and gotten away with it. Does it seem reasonable that someone could live out the rest of their life and never pay for such a crime? Think of the outcry when an innocent child is raped and murdered. We demand justice! But what justice is there for the victim whose murderer is never caught? If there is no ultimate justice, then we can do whatever we like in this world and when this life is over, it’s over – there is no penalty. If God does not exist, then there is no true justice.

As the Deists would say, the watch is evidence of the watchmaker.

As the Atheists would say, none.

As the Discordian would say, 10 pounds of Flax.
