For instance, if they put forth a motion to outlaw Christianity in America, I being an Atheist would vote against this as I think it is a violation of your rights. Do you have the ability to let others live as they will, or do you seek to enforce your views on them?

I certainly do agree to protect rights. Wrong is wrong in anyone's book.

For the United States to be a truly free country, then I must defend the right of someone to do something I am totally against. For example as an Atheist I think all religions are so much bullsh*t but I will defend any Muslim, Christian, Druid, etc their right to practice their religion. I will defend gay people their rights to be...well..gay. If you want to burn the flag...as much as i don't like it....according the the Constitution and the Supreme Court you have the right to do it...and I will defend that right. Now. there are some people that just read my remarks and will say "I'm not defending any of those rights" and to them I say...you don't appreciate freedom then.

Yes I would but where is the line on this issue? Is it right for Christians to stop other people getting abortions or work on Sunday? There are certain forms of Christianity in America that insist on forcing it's views on everyone else, a ban on these would be appropriate

I wouldn't vote to restrict the civil rights of Christians, or any other religious group. And this is despite the fact that many religious fundamentalists actively work to deny basic human rights to gay people, not just in the US, but around the globe.

Not to brag, but I think this clearly demonstrates that I am a much more ethical person with stronger moral values.

I joined the military when I was 18. I DID stand up to protect the rights of those I did not agree with. Next question?

Absolutely. I believe that freedom of worship is essential to a free society, even though I think religion is nonsense that most people would be better off without.
If only the religious right were so tolerant.

I am a Christian and I wish that everyone believed in Christ, however, I believe that people have the right to religion. They should be free to worship whoever they want as long as it is not hurting someone else. Same goes with about anything else.

I am a Christian, but also an American. I would do what I could to protect your right to believe and say what you want. Nevertheless, I would also try to make sure you knew the importance and joy of having Christ in your life.

Forcing your views upon someone has been Historically a Christian trait. But I agree that freedom of religion means all religions or even the lack of one.

If they outlawed Christianity I would be against it. To outlaw a belief is wrong. To outlaw an action that is harmful to others is not wrong but we cannot outlaw thoughts and feelings.
