Does anyone understand what an 'Occult practitioner' is? Does anyone even care?

I've seen responses to my questions that say God/Jesus are all about unconditional love but then the responder unwittingly throws in a condition like 'you must return that love' or 'you must praise god or be aware of his gift' and how hell can exist with Unconditional Love (!!!). We’re talking about the term, UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, which means NO CONDITIONS. If we had a simple reading comprehension test with a paragraph that talked about God’s Unconditional Love but how he also needs to be believed, obeyed, and/or have his love returned to him, the answer about whether this represents Unconditional Love would be unambiguous. Why, then, isn’t this clear to others?

just because i question certain religious beliefs why is it assumed that i am not a spiritual person.
what makes anyone think that i question just to be facetious?
has anyone ever thought that those of us that question or belive in something else has given christianity a try and found it wanting?
these are some things that should be considered before you judge us like your bible says not to do.

For those who want to answer...no because Muhammad is a false Prophet, remember that is what the Jews say about Jesus.

'Verily, (many) Messengers were denied before you (O Muhammad SAW), but with patience they bore the denial, and they were hurt, till Our Help reached them, and none can alter the Words (Decisions) of Allâh. Surely there has reached you the information (news) about the Messengers (before you).'
(Qur'an 6:34)

'Truly, you (O Muhammad SAW) are one of the Messengers,
On a Straight Path (i.e. on Allâh's religion of Islâmic Monotheism).
(This is) a Revelation sent down by the AllMighty, the Most Merciful
In order that you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless' (Qur'an 36:3-6)

What if a Christian decided to kill everyone who did not believe like him? Would he be called a terrorist also?

2006-10-30 06:23:48 · 13 answers · asked by Joel Sopp 2

I hear that God already has depicted the rest of your life. Like everything you do is already known. So if you do anything bad, is it really your fault. If you kill someone, doesnt god make you do that. Why would god punish you when you are sort forced into doing it anyway. I am interested to hear what you say.

and ones religous persuasion is determined primarily by geography.

A muslim is likely to originate in the middle east a christian in the west. Spirituality does not encounter such problems it is only the further classification into distinct religious beliefs.

All of this appears as if there is little divine influence on a person's belief.

What are people's thoughts on this.

living a normal christian life in which you spend nearly as much money (and time) on yourself and your family as do non-christians on things that aren't absolutely necessary (Sattelite TV, nicer clothes, video games) ............

or do you think it would make u and god happier if you had forgone ALMOST ALL unneccesary material goods in this life so that all that money (and time) you would have saved on that could be used to please god, by either helping your fellowman (poverty, sickness) or perhaps all that extra saved effort could bring maybe 7 or 8 more souls into heaven for eternal, ETERNAL salvation and reward?

Obviously the bible does't say you HAVE to live like that in order to receive god's good grace, but if the duration of our lives on this earth is just an barely just a "nanosecond" when compared to the infinite reward we will have, being in gods immacculate prescence for eternity, shouldn't we be compelled to sacrifice whatever we can?

In the name of ALLAH, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Rasulullah (Sallallaahu alaihi Wa-aalay wa sallam) said:
When a man dies and his relatives are busy in funeral, there stands an extremely handsome man by his head. When the dead body is shrouded, that man gets in between the shroud and the chest of the deceased. When after the burial, the people return home, 2 angels, Munkar and Nakeer(names of two special Angels), come in the grave and try to separate this handsome man so that they may be able to interrogate the dead man in privacy about his faith. But the handsome man says, "He is my companion, he is my friend. I will not leave him alone in any case.
If you are appointed for interrogation, do your job. I cannot leave him until I get him admitted into Paradise".
Thereafter he turns to his dead companion and says, "I am the Qur'aan,
which you used to read, sometimes in a loud voice and sometimes in a low
voice. Do not worry. After the interrogation of Munkar and Naker, you
will have no grief. When the interrogation is over, the handsome man
arranges for him from Al-Mala'ul A'laa (the angels in Heaven) a silk
bedding filled with musk.
Rasulullah (Sallallaahu alaihi Wa-aalay wa sallam) said:
"On the Day of Judgement, before Allah, no other intercessor will have a
greater status than the Qura'an, neither a Prophet nor an angel."
Please keep forwarding this "Hadith" to all ....because Rasulullah
(Sallallaahu alaihi Wa-aalay wa sallam) said:
"Pass on knowledge from me even if it is only one verse".
May Allah bestow this favour on all of us.

that i need to thank god for all the good (blessings) in my life.
if thats true and if god created everything then does that mean he gets the blame for all the bad as well? it is only logical that if he gets credit for the good then he must take responsibilty for the bad.

2:6 and 2:7: As for those who disbelieve, it is the same for them; whether you warn them, or not warn them, they cannot believe. God seals their minds and their hearing, and their eyes are veiled. They have incurred severe retribution.

Or do I interpret something wrong?

Please be relevant when answer. I'm not interested in terrorism or paedophilia now.

I love coming to this forum. Mostly I like asking questions, instead of answering, because I truly want to know anothers insight so that it may heighten mine. This is the only way I think we can expand our horizons, through each other. My opinion is only my opinion, and means nothing unless the person who listens to my opinion finds meaning in it.
Have you asked yourself why you are here?
Is it to state your opinion, and connect with others, or are you looking for something, and dont even know it? I myself am here because I have taken so much time to understand my own faith, and in doing so I had to push away the faith of others. Now I want to know how others believe, and feel the passionate words of their beliefs. Tell me why do you think you are here?
