yup you mis interpreted....
these were the verses, revealed when even due to the constant efforts, wishes n prayers, prophet's(pbuh) uncle abu lahab, n another non-believer,abu jehel didnot accept Islam.
so this verse was revealed in that case,it's real interpretation is,do tell them the truth,n guide them, but never enforce.and even then they don't want to listen or understand, when even the truth has revealed infront of them, then remember no need to make them understand,Allah has closed the doors of understanding, these were for those, who even asking for miracle from prohpet(pbuh),n prophet broke the moon in two pieces n then rejoined but they didn't accept truth till death.
it's also applicable for muslims, those who disobey, even knowing the truth..
hope my elaboration clears!

God has not blinded anyone everyone is always pointing the finger at God why not point it in the right direction and point it at Satan! He has blinded ppl to the truth. If they cannot see it then they do not want to. If ppl want the truth they have to want it and ask for it. God give us the freedom of choice it is up to us.read 1 John 5: 19 or 2 Cor. 4 :4 John 12: 31. All those Scriptures tell you who is the ruler of this world. HE HAS BLINDED THE PPL. NOT GOD.

I guess the disbelievers themselves chose not to.....liek for e.g. take this guy who I told that Allah is the same God as his and that we do not have different gods....he was trying to teach me my religion.....telling me NO YOU DO WORSHIP THE MOON GOD....etc etc....I mean who knows my religion more than I do?? plus he never stopped...and well in his case....he was just adamant....So I guess in the case of people like these....God tries to show them the right path but they refuse to accept and stick to their beliefs...
Similarly when we try to teach our religion to other people they start saying.....these Muslims just force you to convert...
No matter how much we tell them about our religion, no matter how much we warn them....they do not believe ....."God seals their minds and their hearing, and their eyes are veiled. They have incurred severe retribution".
Not just in Prophet Muhammads(pbuh) case but this was also in the case of Prophet Moses ...... no matter how much he told the people .......they were stubborn....and hey they had so many miracles at that time.....I guess that's what people want now ...miracles....but by the time they see it....it'll be too late.
I would also like to mention....there is not a single person who does not hear about Islam...if they die without believing in the message they are of the non-believers.

God created Bad and Good , so there must be good people and bad people. God knows who will follow the right path and do good. So the ones who don't, God knows that they are bad and will do no good to islam but will ruin and destroy the world. So who God makes him see the right path will do Good in the world. Try to see the ones who went to islamic religion and you will see that is true.

The God is not a human being. God is not a male or female or anything else. In my understanding Allah, Jesus, Krishna they all are the same power who wants us to live in extreme peace. But it is our devil part of mind which tries to create hate/anger towards others.
God bless everyone with good thinking.

We believe that God know what's in your heart. He know that no matter how Mohammed (pbuh) tried to call them to Islam, they will not hear. It is when there is no use of a person who is full of evil and refuses to repent. Therefore, God does not need them, as He know that they will never come to Him. He is speaking to Mohammed (through Angel Gabriel) telling him about a certain group of people, to let him know that God knows what's in everybody's heart/brain. It does not mean He created some of us and left us astray, it is we who refuse to listen. God has more mercy than all mankind combined, how can you think that He creates a group to send them to hell directly!!.

Hello,
This verse is talking about those who out of their free will did not accept Islam, and therefore out of their own free will they bar themselves from it. Allah (God) is always accepting people in to Islam, and gives his blessing to anyone who joins it.
That is my interpretation of the Verse, and I am answering out of personal belief from my years as a Muslim who cares and respects all that is good in this world.

God blinds those who want to be blinded...Which means those who don't want to believe and see the light.
It's up for the people to decide who to worship, and how to worship him, and it's up for the Almighty to decide who deserves Heaven, and who deserves Hell
That's the true meaning of the verse

The God Islam worships doesn't offer redemption for your sins. You will never see him when you die.Jesus Christ offers you redemption and everlasting life. You will be able to see his nail scarred hands.
Didn't hear of Allah sending his son to die for the sins of all the world.
Jesus said, whosoever. Not just a few or chosen, but anyone. It doesn't matter who you are or what you have done.Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven, and so it shall be proven.
Faith will give way to sight, and grace will give way to glory.
AMEN!
