This is one of life's great mysteries.
Yes, God knows what we will do, but we also have free will.
This is best understood in relationship to eternity. God is, was, and always will be. This is hard for a human to understand.
Likewise, what we will do is pre-ordained, but we have free will.
So, you can choose not to kill, but if you kill it is already known that you will.
In choosing not to kill, and to be kind and helpful, you have chosen a different path.
You will be held accountable always for your choices. But what you choose will already be known. So, choose right and choose strong, and choose righteous...You can choose to do wrong, but don't do it.
You have the choice.

yes- I believe God does have a set plan of what he wants to see us accomplish in life, much like any parent. However he does not change or manipulate our human nature. He may guide us along the way- but that's only if we ask for it. Human nature will lead us off the beaten path from time to time with temptations and bad influences but sometimes we need to learn in order to have the strength to find our way back and keep going.
Also, if you kill someone it is going against God's will and you were most likely (according to the bible) under the influence of bad judgement maybe liquor, drugs, or the devil but that depends on your beliefs. The thing is without wrongdoing we cannot learn what is right, and that will never change. Good question, by the way. Nice to see people using their brains on here!

Let's say it's NOT an "all-or-nothing" event!
We have free-will to choose as we please.
And, God knows our choices.
But, God does not know how we will choose.
What God does know is all the possibilities of our choices and their outcomes.
Like an upside-down tree. God knows the big branches of our lives and all the little branches and twigs that come afterward.
God sees our lives unfurling in a multitude of ways.
But, God wishes and works for us to live into the life we are created to live: one of love toward God, ourselves, and others (in that order).
But, ultimately it's up to us to make the right choices. We can make ones that draw us all closer together, or ones that set us apart. The whole Jesus thing is about love.

There are two sides of the coin:
God is omniscient (all-knowing), past, present and future. This is one side of the coin.
People have freewill. I am responsible for my life...how I live, act, think, etc. This is the other side of the coin.
However, prescience does not mean causality. In other words, just because God foreknows all things does not cause them to happen. He sees into the future, yes. What God sees happening will happen. It will not change. But, this does not absolve anyone from being responsible for their actions.
There is a philisophical difference between fixity and causality.

you're an person now and might make your individual selections. Your mothers and fathers might have not set a solid occasion or offered you with vegetables. It takes slightly time to alter your ingesting conduct yet you're able to do it in case you do not immediately blame your mothers and fathers once you narrow back to rubble. i locate that fasting for a whole day helps reset my urge for meals to a greater fit one. Even meals I often do not crave style scrumptious once you're very hungry. And ward off processed meals with chemical compounds including MSG and artificial sweeteners, they're going to rather stimulate your urge for meals and you will crave those meals better than healthful meals. I grew up on a farm and we raised our very own end result and vegetables infrequently figuring out to purchase processed or junk meals, even a delicate drink replace right into a manage. We additionally did chores around the farm, helped in the backyard and around the living house yet we've been nevertheless overweight youngsters. Too many dairy products for one venture. i don't blame my mothers and fathers for my weight issues, they are all my own and that i'm person and might pick what I consume. Being green with envy isn't a healthful approach.

Those are bullshit. Let put into christian religious to discuss it. If your god had planned all things that you will do, this will be his fault, not yours. God created you and you commit mistake then god punish you later then. If it is related to Hindu, will be a karma which you committed and casuse the results later on. These results happenned later on may be not your being life can see, it will carry forward to next life.

Good question. The reason why your life is already set is because of your last life activities. Karma. But that does not mean you do not have to act responsibly now. Your good and bad Karma are coming like the waves in the ocean. How you react to them will then determine your next set of Karma. Usually it is a delayed reaction. You can get rid of all you karma by chanting the Maha Mantra (mantra for deliverance
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare. On 108 beads 16 times areound a day (about two hours) and always medlitat on the name of God it is the process for the age we are in. and the easiest way to get rid of Karma(Sinful reactions)go to www.stephen-knappl.com for universal info.

Ok. I love what Gregory Maguire said in his book 'Son of a witch':
"If the unlettered farmers of Munchkinland and the factory workers of Gillikin believe that thier fate is tetermined by how the Time Dragon dreams them up, then they need not take responsibility for thier actions or for changing thier stations in life."
Furthermore, we have the gift of choice and freedom of thought. Therefore fate is BS and there are no mistakes, only the inertia of the choices we make.

How can that be if we have free will. He is all knowing but you make the decisions here. (Contradiction??) NO,
For example: You have this teenager and she is really into dancing and she know you dont like it, you oppose to it, but you tell her that she has free will to make the right decision. You know shes gonna go anyways, (she needs to learn responsability / even if there is a punishment afterwards ) You dont stop her, She goes anyways. Although you where hoping she didnt go- she did.
She had free will and you knew that she was gonna go, before she went.
God is our parent, He gives us free will to make the decision that we choose (be it right or wrong) He knows your gonna do it but becasue of free will he must let you make the decisions you want to make.

In Job it has this one verse, just out of the blue, all by itself. that god placed a seal on the hand of man so that all men may know of his work. palmistry. and I wont go into it, but every darn line has meaning, it lays out your past and present and future. darn dist thing I have ever seen. amazing. It indicates what is going to happen. it is up to you.though. you can change it I belive. you have a free will son, your a grown man are you not? be a man, take charge of you own life. your lines are nothing next to the power of the spirit of god that can be with you and guide you, ask for it to come in and you will see what I mean. with faith of course.
