As opposed to Arminians, Calvinists believe that God loved and chose His own. Christ died for those the Father loved, and the ones that "chose" Him, didn't really. Way different from Arminian beliefs of God knowing, but still giving us ability to choose Him (never could reconcile that one), Christ wiping out the sins of everyone but only the ones that choose Him go to Heaven (can't reconcile that one either), and the possibility of falling away from the faith.

Both are Christians. Should they get along if they are so far apart in how they got there?

I believe in Isa(PBUH) Jesus in Islamic way, we never unbelieve in any prophet nor make fun of them. I want to ask Christians that in your religion if u die as non-christian should u spend in hell forever. I also want a best website about Christianity, where i can find Christian law, history ano other important issues.
I am a Muslim, believe in Islam, but don't say I disrespect Christianity. I dunno why but sometimes I feel peace, love and calmness when i think of christianity.

Answers:
Keep Tradition: 2 Thess. 2:15, 2 Tim. 2:2, 1 Cor. 11:2
Let me be clear, the "Traditions of Men" are wrong
Mark 16:17: My friend you are mistaken, countless priests cast out demons as exorcists to this day. In fact, protestant ministers will tell you that if someone is possesed, they are sent to a Catholic Priest.
Tongues: They now spoke with the power to forgive sins.
Church: Not merely the House of God, in this sense the world is a Church. No, the Church is "the pillar of Truth" and it is One (Rom. 12:5, 1 Cor. 10:17, 12:13) A church is a building, the Church of the Bible is the word
ecclesia or congregation. The Church Jesus spoke of was a group of people inspired by the Holy Spirit.

Comment on "Catholic Bible"- The New American Standard Edition is accepted by many protestant denominations.

Any trait that remains in humans must have been beneficial to our survival. For religions to be so common around the world, it must have confered some kind of survival advantage.

Can anyone explain how it is possible?

Is it better recognizing the holiness during the life, immediately after the death using even some of banners, or after different years that the person is dead? Which are the biblical references for recognizing the holiness after the death?

I was not born a Catholic, however as I get older I find myself identifying with the teachings and beliefs of the Catholic church. Would I be able to become Catholic, or is this not the done thing?

Ok, here is my problem. So many protestants out there claim they are the ones who follow the Bible. This simply cannot be. The Bible call the Church a light on the hill a VISIBLE organization of people. The Bible says the Church is the bride of Christ. Christ can have but one bride. The Bible says that we must hold fast to tradition, yet many protestants reject Tradition. In 101AD St. Ignatius of Antioch, a disciple of Polycarp, who was a Disciple of John The Evangelist said that we are all called to follow the "One,Catholic Church." This man actually edited the Gospel of John and if you try to discount his Catholic comment, you discount the Bible.

I was for years a nurse and was told that I was responsible for the spiritual care of my patients and that I MUST believe in something to which I responded that legally I didn't have to. I wtnessed all sorts of abuses by religionists. One group seemed to think that if you were in a wheelchair and frail you were automatically part of their congregation and were promptly kidnapped and taken to the assembly room.
