Jesus was raised from the dead, He ascended into heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father, and will return to earth to set up His millennial Kingdom, all wars will end from that point until the end of the millennium where Satan is released for a short time. After that, eternity.

Sorry, I couldn't answer this yes or no because it glossed over some essential things.

Jesus Christ was raised to life, then later ascended to Heaven. And, yes, He will return at the appointed time - and only God knows when that is. Peace.

Thats a good question.

I do believe that Jesus (may Gods greetings be on him) is bound to come back to earth to destroy the false messiah, the dajjal.

However during my discussions with scholars of religion, I have come across the following that appeals to my logical thoughts:

1. the mentioning of Jesus Christ being 'raised' into the heavens actually denotes him being elevated in esteem to God. Not raised to heaven in flesh. This is supported by the verse 19:33:

"So Peace is on me the day I was born the day that I die and the Day that I shall be raised up to life (again)"!

and most importantly with verse 3:55:

'Oh Jesus I will cause ye to die and exhalt thee in My presence and clear thee of those who disbelief and make those who follow thee above those who disbelief to the day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return so I shall decide between you concerning that wherein you differ.'

The link above explains what 'exhalting' Jesus means. The disbelievers (jews of jesus time) claimed his birth was not legitimate and therefore had tried to bring shame on both Jesus and Mary (may Gods greetings and blessings be on them both).

Yes I absolutely belileve this. Only God the Father knows when Jesus will come back - not even Jesus knows. God will let Jesus know when it is time - when everyone has heard the Mighty Name of Jesus and has the chance for salvation - then Jesus will return.

Jesus himself? No. God's Spirit--the same Spirit present in Jesus of Nazareth--working in people of faith, both Christians and Muslims, will bring about peace.

But first we, Christians and Muslims both, must learn to live our faith in the One God and not our fear of one another.

Gods do not exist, so waiting for a god/Human hybrid to come back from the dead is ridiculous.
