I want to ask Christians that in your religion if u die as non-christian should u spend in hell forever. I also want a best website about Christianity, where i can find Christian law, history ano other important issues.
I am a Muslim, believe in Islam, but don't say I disrespect Christianity. I dunno why but sometimes I feel peace, love and calmness when i think of christianity.

Hi, as a Christian I've met many Muslims with a deep respect for Jesus (PBUH, as you say). The Koran even speaks favourably of followers of Jesus, in Surah 57:27, saying that they are people of compassion and mercy. Often Muslims are more respectful in their religion than christians, as you will probably see from the answers you get here.
On the question of hell, the Bible suggests that there is a hell, although it isn't as black and white as many Christians think it is - in fact, Jesus seems to preach hell to the hypocritical religious people of his time more than to unbelievers. I believe that hell is the absence of God. If you reject God in life, he holds you to your decision, and you will spend eternity in a place with no God. And a place without God is a place without love, without light, without peace...
For other religions, I believe God is merciful, and loving, and forgiving, so I don't think it is as simple as 'if you die as a non-christian, you go to hell'. God rewards those who seek him, the Bible says in Hebrews 11:6. Maybe even if they never find him, I don't know, God rewards the seeking, because he sees the heart and the intentions.
A good website to investigate Jesus and the impact his life has had is www.rejesus.co.uk

Christianity is a personal issue between you and God. Christians pray every day to ask forgiveness for their sins. No one is perfect, and just because you sin does not mean you will go to hell forever. God is the only one that is perfect, and there is but one God. Is God, and a Prophet the same person? Christians believe in one God, and live by the ten commandments. I don't know about the website thing, but I can tell you everything you need or want to know is in the bible. I won't argue as to the issue of the bible being right or wrong. I don't know why people want to make that an issue, because the bible is nothing more than a book that tells you how to live your life. It has many stories, but the important thing is you believe in God, live by the ten commandments, pray every day, and you are considered a christian. I hope you find what you are looking for, and I see you in heaven one day. Good Luck!!!

Not all Christians agree on everything, so although you asked a simple yes-or-no question ("in your religion if you die as non-Christian should you spend in hell forever?"), the answer depends on which denomination of Christian you ask.

There are Bible Fundamentalists who believe that every word in the bible comes straight from the mouth of God. For them, they take very strictly the verse in the Gospel of John where Jesus is quoted: "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; there is no other way to the Father but by Me." This is why many Christians believe that non-Christians go to Hell.

Catholics don't believe that. The Catechism of the Catholic Church (paragraphs 839-856) discusses the Catholic views of non-Christian religions and our relationship with them.

Regarding Muslims, Catechism paragraph 841 reads, "The plan of salvation also incudes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the Last Day."

Paragraph 843 reads, "The Catholic Church recognizes in other religions that search, among shadows and images, for the God who is unknown yet near since he gives life and breath and all things and wants all men to be saved. Thus the Church considers all goodness and truth found in these religions as a preparation for the Gospel and given by him who enlightens all men that they may at length have life."

The Catechism of the Catholic Church is a great reference book for looking up official Church positions on various issues, but honestly, it makes for some dry reading. If you want to read about Christianity, start with the Gospel of Mark. It's the earliest, the shortest, and the simplest of the synoptic gospels.

I realize that Muslims believe that the Bible is "corrupted" but that shouldn't stop you from reading it with an analytical eye. Catholics also recognize that there are inconsistencies within the Bible (after all, the early Church fathers accepted four separate and somewhat different accounts of the life of Christ), and it should be read in its historical context. It's still the best resource out there on the message of Jesus. And if Isa is a prophet, then it's all about the Message, isn't it?

If you want to learn about the early days of the Church (shortly after Jesus), try the Acts of the Apostles (immediately after the four gospels in the Bible).

If you want to get an idea of how Christians are called to live, I'd recommend the short book "Life and Holiness" by Thomas Merton. This is one of my personal favorites.

God bless you, and keep up the search!

Islam believes Jesus was a prophet. Christianity believes He was the Son of God, God incarnate, the Messiah.

Jesus, Himself, said that He was the Son of God and God incarnate "I and the Father are one - No one comes to the Father but through Me". There are a lot of other examples of Him saying this throughout the Bible. In the Old Testament, Isaiah 9:6-7 foretells of Jesus:

6For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

7Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

My point? Either Jesus was Who He said He was or He was a liar or insane. If He was a liar or insane, He could NOT be a prophet. It's that simple. I will be praying for you, with love, that you may continue to search. I know that if you allow Jesus to show you, He will reveal the truth about Himself to you.

Peace

Dear one,
You have part of it right, but to fully be in commune with God is through the only way, Jesus, the way the truth and the light. Yes, I do believe that those who die apart from God (who have not received Jesus) will go to hell forever (for eternity) but it does not need to be this way. Each of us has a choice to make. We all fall short of the Glory of God, and all need a Savior.

Please understand that Christianity does not look upon Jesus as a mere prophet. Rather, he was the Messiah (or Christ). There's a difference. If you get to read the Bible and the words of Jesus (and it's debatable as to what words are actually attributed to him), you get the sense of his teachings of love. This is the weapon which must be used against *satan*, and the accepting of him as your personal spiritual Saviour.

John the Baptist was a prophet to testify to Jesus as the Messiah. Don't get the meaning of messiah and prophet mixed up.

Billy Graham is one of the most revered Christian men today. I suggest you start with his website and explore from there. Much like all other beliefs in the world, Christians also have extremists. I would suggest you avoid their rhetoric, as it will lead you in the wrong direction. However, there are probably hundreds of truly Bible believing sites out there.

God bless your search for knowledge.

That's the belief, however, I doubt that is the case. I believe that God (or Allah, Jehova, what have you) is far more forgiving then we humans are. It's humans who condemn their fellow man to hell. We are the unforgiving ones. We condemn that which we don't understand or just don't like. God has a love far beyond human understanding. It would make sense to me that He would have a heaven filled with those of all beliefs, for He is a loving God and loves us all.

The last of prophets in the order of time was Malachias.

Latin Vulgate
Douay-Rheims Bible

Second Epistle Of Saint Peter
Chapter 2

1 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there shall be among you lying teachers, who shall bring in sects of perdition, and deny the Lord who bought them: bringing upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their riotousnesses, through whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you. Whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their perdition slumbereth not. 4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but delivered them, drawn down by infernal ropes to the lower hell, unto torments, to be reserved unto judgment

11 Whereas angels who are greater in strength and power, bring not against themselves a railing judgment. 12 But these men, as irrational beasts, naturally tending to the snare and to destruction, blaspheming those things which they know not, shall perish in their corruption, 13 Receiving the reward of their injustice, counting for a pleasure the delights of a day: stains and spots, sporting themselves to excess, rioting in their feasts with you: 14 Having eyes full of adultery and of sin that ceaseth not: alluring unstable souls, having their heart exercised with covetousness, children of malediction
